The slightly-less-than-doctor-bag like opening, the very nice and large zipper, and the well placed attachment loops. I have the Peak Design 45L travel pack and was looking for something smaller for shorter trips. I bought this instead of the 30L travel pack because I wanted something more versatile as well. This bag fits the bill perfectly. It's just the right size for airline carry-on or a trip to the gym, with more organization than a typical duffel. And it's more compressible than a hard-sided bag. I bought this to replace my over ten year old Cinebags Cinematographer bag. Unfortunately, Cinebags no longer makes this and their CB01 and CB11 are too big for what I need, the Travel Duffle 35L fits the bill perfectly. I paired it with Peak Design's Large Camera Cube which gives me the full customization I need as each shoot is different. With the cube I'm able to pack lenses, matte boxes, filters, my light meter and much more. The exterior of the bag is durable and waterproof, another added bonus! I definitely see myself getting a lot of use out of this bag for the next twenty years.
This is a small but spacious duffle, perfect for an overnight or weekend away. It has two exterior pockets on lateral sides and two interior pockets for small items. It seems to be made of quality material, sturdy but not heavy. It has a nice aesthetic appeal. The only feature missing is an exterior pocket on either (or both) ends.

The inside is very wide and opens up very big for easy access of your clothes and things. Overall construction is robust and the stitching seems to be very strong from what I can tell. I like the over shoulder strap due to its large cushion and comfortability. The backpack feature is okay, in a pinch and your arms get tired or need to distribute the weight it will work. Overall, the pros surpass the cons. Perfect for weekend trips and Easy Jet flights. I might add a handle to wrap around. However, I found a work around the issue: I leave the shoulder strap on as well the straps for the backpack mode. Then I use all of them in tandem to lift the bag. Hence, I could switch carry modes without disconnecting any of the straps and it is more comfortable when carrying the bag. Upcoming future trips will confirm more its usefulness and quality.

Hard to believe anyone at Peak Designs tried it out beforehand and thought these were OK. I’ll probably add a separate neoprene grab handle in the future to at least salvage the carry part. The bag is a good price and overall well-featured, but a shame to have to buy more add-ons to make it comfortable to use for its purpose.
