These shorts are a brilliant comfortable fit - a perfect everyday pair of cycle shorts that look good! Really pleased to have them in navy rather than usual black.

I had a pair of Pearl Izumi bibs that had gotten too large for me so I sized down one size for these shorts. I bought a medium. I typically wear a small in other brands like Patagonia, so I thought this should be fine. When I first put them on, I thought they were too small and almost sent them back. Gave them a little time - went on a ride, kept them on while they dried, and they feel better now. While I do think they fit small compared to other brands, they seem fine now. I guess you just need to figure out what size you are for PI; it will likely be one size larger than other brands. The chamois pad is fine - just basic, and I don't have any issues with it. Waistband is wide and comfortable, but I do wish the rise on these was about an inch taller; it rolls on ... MoreI had a pair of Pearl Izumi bibs that had gotten too large for me so I sized down one size for these shorts. I wish their sizing was a little more consistent across lines. But overall, the fabric seems sturdy. I hope they'll last for many miles.

On first impression, they feel thinner than the last few pairs of pearl izumi shorts I had gotten. After a couple rides I can say very comfy and a nice fit. I didn’t notice how much I needed new shorts till I got new shorts. They feel good
The material was rather comfortable. However I do not think that this is suitable for long distance. I did a 75km ride and at the last 20km+ i can feel the effect. The cushion, mainly the front part, was also not thick enough. Am not sure if it's due to a different size I took since I got an L instead of an M (which was my usual size). In any case, it is good for short ride but it could do better in terms of the cushioning
Got these for my husband. His cheap shorts kept wearing out and falling apart, so I wanted to get him something I knew was high quality. I use these also and they are great quality, they last a long time and are super comfortable for long days in the saddle. The chamois is thick and provides great comfort.
Definitely a lower end Pearl Izumi short. The single flat chamois is not as comfortable as the higher level stiched ones. Good support though.
Lovely shorts for cycling, nice quality, good amount of stretch. Sizing chart was good. Fit was good at waist but too big in the leg for me.
These shorts are much tighter than any I have ever used. I'm 5'9" and 155 lbs. The shorts are a size large. Other than that, I like the shorts. Very comfortable on my typical rides of 3 to 3.5 hours.
I?m a newer rider and my cyclist friend highly recommended these. She was spot on! I got another pair after purchasing one just to be sure? fit TTS for what I expected (cycling apparel tends to run smaller, but it makes sense). I?m 5?7?, anywhere from 138-144 hip measures 38-39? and got a M. I?ve been on two lengthier (for me) rides (about 20 mi each) and these worked for me, especially when terrain got a bit bumpy. Very happy with these shorts!
