The handlebars are made from iron providing strong and stable steering and these are laquered to keep them looking great! On the handlebars, you will find rubber hand grips and guards to protect their little hands. The accelerator and brake are on the same pedal making driving it easy. In the centre of the 'tank', you will find a rear lever which gives your little one access to 2 forward gears and 1 reverse. Even better for parents, if you want to limit their speed, there is a simple gear lock to prevent them accessing 2nd gear. There is also no need to worry about the power in the vehicle, Peg Perego have that covered too - literally! There is a sealed base keeping the driver protected from the electric wires and to protect them from water and mud. The battery, which is 12v/8Ah, is found in a compartment under the seat and has a childproof lock to keep little fingers out. Included with the quad is a battery and a battery charger so there are no extras to buy to get it to work! The battery can be charged either in the vehicle or it can be removed for easier charging in the house.
