Pelican 1510TP Carry-On Case with Trekpak Divider System (Black) The black Pelican 1510TP Carry-On Case with Trekpak Divider System is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant, and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of an ultra-high-impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" neoprene O-ring and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It has a hinged case with double ABS latches that seal perfectly, and padlock protectors that provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. The 1510TP comes with long side handles, a long front handle, a retractable extension handle, and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The case meets current FAA requirements for carry-on luggage. Besides being lighter than traditional padded dividers, the TrekPak Divider System uses pre-installed wall sections, divider panels, locking pins, and an easy-to-use cutting tool. Simply lay your gear in the case, measure and cut the divider sections, and lock them in place with the steel U-pins. Extra divider material is included for occasions where your equipment requirements vary. The 7/16" thick divider sections are made of waterproof, closed-cell foam that is laminated to a rigid, corrugated plastic panel that resists tearing and shredding. The TrekPak is combined with a 1" bottom foam and lid foam to give your gear 360-degree protection.

Best Gear Purchase to Date

I have owned a number of different backpacks over the last several years and all of them leave something to be desired. I decided to purchase this case to use when carrying gear to the different events I shoot, mainly sports and rodeo. I love the TrekPak dividers, but just a word of caution, really think through your setup as they are expensive to purchase more. Everything is secure and stays exactly in place. I leave my gear here full time and love that even at home its perfect storage space. I look forward to flying with it in the future. This is worth every dime I spent. No regrets.

When you simply need the best solution, this is really all there is. I have a Nanuk case for my gimbal, and while good, the quality and design essentials are next level with the Pelican. The TrekPak system makes it super easy to customize to my setup (don't be intimidated by needing to cut things to size-the provided tool makes it super easy...and quite fun) better than any preconfigured setup. Further, once done, all my gear felt really well protected and didn't move around at all. Even though I've never done it any other way (yet), I'd say that TrekPak beats plucking or cutting out foam with a turkey carving knife. Only question is to see how durable the dividers will remain after months of use. If you want/need to get organized, this case is fantastic. I have one for my Sony A1, 100-400 lens, 200-600 lens and with the lid organizer (the Pelican version) I have everything I need where I can find it!The divider system is easy to install and is a HUGE plus! Not cheap, but well worth it.I bought a 2nd one for my Nikon Z6II and lenses with the lid organizer.Easy roll out to the SUV and put in the back and everything stays secure, dry and safe from the dust going down gravel roads! After putting everything in it, I would not want anything any larger due to the weight. It's manageable even by an old guy! The roller wheels are very convenient.

Great and versatile case
17 December 2021

This is a great case not just because all Pelican cases are so durable and well made, but also because the cushions can be designed to your needs. I laid my equipment in the case before any cutting of the sides. I designed it the way I wanted it, and then I cut the sides. It worked out great. Example; flash units are large and take up a lot of room. I found that if I opened up my Canon EL-1 and laid it flat that I could take a small piece of cushion and lay it on top of it, then lay my 600EX flash on top of it. I have my Canon R5 (no lens on it), the two mentioned flashes, Speedlite transmitter, two EL-1 batteries, Battery grip (BG-R10), three lenses standing up straight, my 70-200 laying flat, two Canon battery chargers (one laying on top of the other with a ... MoreThis is a great case not just because all Pelican cases are so durable and well made, but also because the cushions can be designed to your needs. Great size
25 July 2023

This item was purchased to carry two Nikon cameras and some lenses plus a few accessories. If you follow the instructions just as they are written, you will be able to create our custom case. There are videos here too that will show you how. I am not disappointed with this case. It's easy to lift and load. Fits in over head compartment on airplane. I'm rough with my gear so this saves it!

Just What I Needed - My Gear Is Safe and Secure!
8 August 2022

Before I bought this case, my camera gear was in 4 different bags. The gear was scattered and disorganized. When I got this case with the Trek Pak system, I was able to configure the case so it can carry 3 DSLRs, 3 mirrorless mini cameras and 7 lenses (35mm, 60mm, 105mm, 85mm, 24-85, 35-70, 24-70mm)! I also purchased the Lid Organizer insert. This is just what I needed to keep batteries, lens caps, filters and other items that I always need - especially when I am running and gunning at a wedding! It is a sturdy and solidly built case that I hope to use for my entire career as a professional photographer. My second 1510 carry on
29 December 2022

I have traveled with it to most of the states in the US, several countries in Europe, and central America. When the first set of dividers wore out I upgraded to the TrekPak...thats a game changer, love the system and the ease of changing the layout. I just purchased a second case, It will hold my computer and tether equipment. with the case securely locked I have no concerns taking it out on location. boats, ski lifts, pool side, football games in all weather...only complaint would be that larger wheels would come in handy but thats a minor thing, and im not sure I would want to loose the space inside the case for bigger wheels.

Nirvana for organization freaks

B&H rocks of course!I have 2 of these, a larger 1560 case, and a Pelican Tripod case. I use them for travel and security. Wedding and Landscape trip to California recently went great. Airline carry on all my lenses and camera provides less worry. Check the other cases. I also use these in my F150 with cable locks and can lock the top with a modest lock. This will definately slow down a thief from smashing your window and grabbing a few lenses. But will not stop a well prepared thief with large bolt cutter and 2 minutes of time in a remote area. The rollers and handle are indespensible and lightweight. They can remove if needed. TrekPac is wonderful. Flexibility is unbelievable, and if you are a neat organization freak like me, it is nirvana. TrekPac is wonderful. Flexibility is unbelievable, and if you are a neat organization freak like me, it is nirvana. Very attractive well organized case. Maximizes space very well. Just add the little 4x4 foam blocks from Trekpac to both add extra cushion for valuable lenses, and reduce vibration while traveling. I haven't worried about the thin but strong seperator walls, with the exception of a small or large fender bender. Now that I have a lot of very expensive lenses, I will move lenses back to foam, and Trekpac for everything else.

The Perfect Case

Over time, my last hard case started showing wear: piece of foam on the interior were shedding, the clasps to close it not as sure as they once were, etc. Clearly it was time to replace it.I've always had good luck with Pelican gear -- be it for photo equipment, video gear or even sensitive fiber optic test equipment. Never has the case failed or allowed my gear to be damaged.I bought the 1510TP because I never check my cameras at the airport, and would rather keep them with me and far away from potential thieves or ham-hands who don't care if they cause hundreds of dollars of damage. TrekPak dividers are superb for storage
7 September 2023

I have the same size Pelican case with foam. TrekPak dividers are superb for storage, minimizing wasted space and reconfigurable when needed, though major changes in layout may require buying additional TrekPak sections. I use them inside a metal tool cabinet to bring order out of chaos for my gear, and I've been extremely happy with their effectiveness and with the hyper-organized look. For travel, they're very protective against gear bumping together, but for prolonged travel or lots of airplane time they might not be as protective against vibration. You could configure them so the gear is held tightly in them, but then over time they may cause rub marks as the gear is removed and reinstalled. So for travel I do prefer pluckable foam.
