This glittering fountain pen by Pelikan from their Souver n collection adds its beauty to the long and distinguished history of the range. 1950 saw the original Black-Green pen launched and Black-Blue was added to the range in 1995. Following the great popularity enjoyed by both colours the Black-Red variation was added in 2001. The pen is crafted according to Pelikan's specially-formulated method of using various processes to create the striped material and to bend and smooth it into shape. The contours of the barrel are diamond-ground and then polished to a high sheen. Contrasting beautifully with the rich red colour is the burnished 24-karat gold-plated trims. The nib is available in fine medium and broad sizes and is made from 14-karat gold with rhodium decoration. This pen is the M400 which is the smallest model fountain pen in Black-Red in this collection. With the cap closed it measures 12.5cm.
