Pelikan Souveran M605 Fountain Pen Green-White Special Edition Broad

I waited for Pelikan to release this pen in the M600 series, the M800 and M1000 versions being larger than I wanted, and the M400 smaller. I pre-ordered when it was first announced. The pen doesn’t disappoint: understated and beautiful. And, as always, Iguana Sell’s service is without compare.

The M405 is the smallest and lightest of the Souverän line, but it has all of the qualities of the other Souverän pens. The M405 is beautiful, with the finish of cap, barrel and nib up to Pelikan's extremely high standards. The pen posts securely, and it feels much longer when posted, almost as long as a posted M600/605. It is, however, lighter and slimmer than the M600/605. The medium nib is quite wet, and a purchaser should consider a fine nib for many routine writing purposes. But the nib writes smoothly and handles the ink flow dependably.

A nice pen

I enjoy using this pen. I now have 4 Pelikan Souveran Fountain Pens, EXF, Fine, Med and Broad nibs. They are all wonderful and built to the highest standards. I have a number of other fine quality pens as well and enjoy all of them. But I find that on average I tend to reach for the Pelikan's a bit more often.

Excellent Pelikan pen

I already own various Pelikan pens, including a couple of M600’s. This Black Tortoise M605 is the most beautiful of all of them. The nib is very smooth, and as most Pelikans, it does not dry up if you don’t use it for a few days.Also, PenBoutique made the whole experience very easy, with their friendly to navigate website, and they shipped super fast. I am a return customer and plan to keep coming back to this store when I need I new pen or inks.

Fan of Iguana Sell

I ordered - and paid for - a Pelikan M605 Stresemann a few months ago. I was nervous when I was told there would be a delay in shipment until December. The pen arrived as promised. There was nothing nefarious in this delay. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of Iguana Sell. The Pelikan is perfect as expected.

Great Pen!

The M 405 Stresemann is a beautiful pen. I was quite surprised to get a white one as I thought I had ordered a black one!The nib is smooth, writes beautifully. I think it is best suited for someone who likes a smaller diameter nib section.

Pelikan Souveran Fountain Pen - M605 Stresemann

I aboslutely love the smooth draw of this pen. It is super light in the hand but glides over almost all types of paper. The cap has a nice twist and the body shines in dim light. Absolutely draws glances and questions. I am larger in the hands and the M605 is about the smallest pen I would write with, but with the cap it feels grand. Pen Boutique is a pleasure to deal with and there was not a single hiccup.

I love the green and white version of the 605. It's definitely different compared to the rest of the Pelikan lineup. Feels great in the hand. Lightweight but not cheap feeling. Posts great with any noticeable backweighting. It's a Pelikan nib so it wrote wonderfully out of the box without any need to adjust it.Get yourself one of these while they are on sale (this was written 3/25/23) and you will not regret it.
