I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. My family has used Penaten cream for generations. This creamy jar format has a smoother consistency that's easier and gentler to apply on sore skin. It instantly soothes the skin and everyone in my family has used it, from baby to my elderly mom on her skin rash. I find that it works very quickly to heal and protect delicate skin. I also love that it is dermatologist tested and contains no fragrance or parabens. It is soothing and gentle enough to use regularly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of an effective multi-purpose diaper rash cream!

We've used penaten cream for all 3 of our kids and it worked great every time. Our youngest still has accidents and started getting rashes real bad. So I went and got some and the results were very quick. This stuff also helps with pain instantly. The cream was applied and my daughter said she had relief instantly. It's not only for babies,it's good for older kids too!

Great stuff to keep on hand! Just keep little fingers away to avoid major messes.

Penaten diaper rash cream is the medicated version and has a more smooth and creamy texture as compared to other creams. I've used this cream liberally on my baby's bump for a few days in hopes to get the rashes treated. But, sadly it didn't work for my baby. She has redness and chafing around her bump and it didn't do anything to make it better. She developed more after using it. I wouldn't recommend this product.
I have been searching for original penaten and finally found it at Walmart online. I just recieved 2 containers and the consistency is completely off. Its as thought the creamy penaten was put into the original tin. I have been searching for the original style of penaten since it's much thicker. Will be returning. Very frustrated.

My baby is sometimes prone to diaper rashes. After I noticed a little redness on the area I immediately applied the diaper rash cream on my daughter and the next day the redness was gone and did not develop into a rash. I now use this cream frequently. I apply it before my daughter goes to bed as she now sleeps through the night so that is when she is in the diaper the most. Since using this product I have not had to experience diaper rash. The product works great and I will surely be repurchasing.

It was my first time using Penaten and I applied it to some red diaper rash on my 2 month old baby. It is easy to apply / lather and the rash was gone overnight. Easy to clean out from the baby the next day as well. The only thing I will change is to add a film cover inside the tub. The first time you open the tub it is easy to let it 'drip' from the cover. And maybe an applicator also.

I lathered the thick cream on her and by the second application I noticed significantly less redness and irritation. This worked much faster than other non-medicated diaper creams I have tried. I love that it not only treats diaper rash but it also prevents future rashes/irritation by creating a protective layer on the skin. It's also gentle enough to use at every diaper change which is fantastic. Clean up is also easy, any excess cream comes right off with a quick wipe.
