I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! I have never tried fragrances from Penhaligon's before and I find that I am pleasantly impressed. Now I am no expert in fragrances but I definitely pick up subtle tones of spice, cedar, and lavender as well as something sweet that I cannot quite place. Overall the different tones complement each other and no single fragrance overpowers another. To me the fragrance is not so strong as to make it unpleasant yet is long lasting! In the office I received nothing but compliments and of course it passed the wife test as she places it as one of her favorites. Well worth wearing in the future, even with the price!
I was really looking forward to trying this Lord George Eau de Parfum. It was described as smelling of warm soap and rum. I didn't appreciate even a subtle hint of either and was quite disappointed. The scent seems pretty generic to me- I can't even pick a high note or undertone. It doesn't project well or for long. If you're looking for ab everyday scent that doesn't make you stand out from the crowd in any setting, this is probably a solid choice. I would not consider it for a signature scent or for an upscale night out, but it's perfectly adequate.
Full confession, I didn’t realize this was a spray sample. I tried to pull the lid off and ended up spraying myself with it. I have been smelling myself all day. My husband loves it too (on him of course!). It has a great scent without being overpowering. I feel like this is the perfect cologne because it can be worn everywhere. Some colognes are so strong that they smell like you are trying to attract. Not this cologne. It has a scent, but not overwhelming. Wear it to work or everyday life and smell like the sexiest man without trying.
My husband has stated that this smells like incense and has floral notes. He tends to enjoy cedar and musky scents. He was not a fan. In my opinion, I did enjoy the scent on him. I don't think it smells as pungent as incense, but it does have a light floral lavender smell. I am not a fan of cologne in general. I feel they tend to be pungent and have common scents that are labeled as "manly". I enjoyed that this parfum is light, so it is perfect for everyday wear. I would say I prefer this scent over the many men's deodorant, body wash or cologne scents.
Wonderful looking bottle—very clean boozy scent. If this were a shaving cream I’d buy everything in stock. It smells like a clean brandy and tonka scented shaving cream with a faintly woodsy dry down. You can wear this for a lot of different occasions… If you like this I’d also recommend checking out other Penhaligon scents (Halfeti, William Penhaligon and Mr. Sam to name a few).I’ve heard some say this reminded them of a more expensive, better bottled Sartorial. I have had both, I disagree with that because the Sartorial dries down Metallic with a slightly powdery smell (and doesn’t have the same barber shop quality about it that Lord George does)… but it’s a fantastic fougere—quite possibly the best I’ve ever come across (Sartorial).
This is a clean and masculine smell. This is not a musk. It does start out with a sweet smell which can be percieved as feminine at first but the longer my husband wore this it turned in to a very distinguised smell, something that seems aristocratic. This is a heavier scent best worn during the fall and winter in my opinion. This does not bring a spring or fall scent to mind. My guy loved it and said it lasted about half the day, which we were hoping due to the quality it would last the full day, this is the only reason its a 4 star rating. He is a cologne user regularly so this has been added to his collection, but is not recommeneded for all day wear, will definitely have to spray again midday to last.
This is a great perfume with a bit woody texture. Once applied, it can be smelt from a distance for some time. But once settled, it lasts with you for quiet some time. Your close and integrate ones would enjoy it. I actually like this about it. It's not very overwhelming at the same time keeps the surrounding spiced up.It says masculine but I think it can easily be categorized as unisex. Pretty good product.
