Benn using this line as a leader for surfcasting with a 6 kilo main line. Easy to see and good to tie knots.Casting around 180 meters and havnt had the line break casting yet. Good line.

A poor example of Penn products

I bought this line to spool my reel for shallows fishing on Swains reef. The line has way too much memory and therefore does not flow of the reel properly. I used it once and then ripped it off and threw it away and re-spooled with another line.

Disappointed

Terrible product, the line spooled off as I was transferring to the reel. Once on the reel line continued to spool off regardless of the amount of line I had put into on

Best value! You can’t find cheaper mono than this and you wouldn’t want too. I have it in 6,10,20lbs and use it for all my backing and on bait rods.

Versatile

Versatile. Seems unlikely but fish seem to be attracted to the colour ?? Doesn't tangle easily....that's a real plus.

I have used Penn mono for years, in fact probably more than 20. Always found it supple and casts easily and has a high know strength. That coupled with the low price suits me. Tried braid and found it crap,Penn mono for me.
