By far on of the best reels I have used. Penn have outdone themselves with this one.First fish caught with the reel was a 124cm hammerhead and the reel performed beautifully.Easy to use, super smooth And strong drag.Absolutely love it. Will probably buy the 6500 for another rod one day. Just fantastic

This is the best reel I have ever owned. It arrived 5 days earlier then expected so I was able to use it on a big fishing day I had yesterday (25/05/17).First fish it experienced was a 142cm hammerhead and It performed as expected for a Penn reel. Smooth, excellent drag and easy to use.Most likely will buy another in the future.

Got two off these penn 4500 ssv live liner reels for snapper fishing with floater rigs. Live liner drag adjustment has failed on both and cant adjust drag from the minimum setting. Sent back to penn under warranty and they claimed to fix it but still negligible adjustment in live liner drag setting. Don't be fooled these reels are not water proof and no more water resistant than any other spinning reels. Otherwise these reels perform well.

I like these reels. They have already been sealed and protected with Mr Sheen.

Have two of the fifth generation spinfisher 10500s and now this sixth generation 10500 and it works incredible, no issues with it just like the past two, definitely a work horse of a reel, they’re heavy but built like tanks!
It has been > 3 weeks since ive made my purchase and ive yet to receive the items. I relayed my dissatisfaction with Ben and proposed a resolution last week and have not received a response. Can i have a refund and you retract the items i purchase from the courier company please. The pain of waiting this long for items ive paid for weeks in advance is unbearable... I know if i order my gear from Dinga i will receive within 1-2 days max.
