Most of my cars uses 5W-30, 10W-40 or 20W-40. So I thought a good quality oil within the range required might enable me to use one oil to service all my cars. 10W-40 Racing 10 Synthetic seems to fit the bill. So I using this across a number of cars and so far all perform well and run well with one seeming to consume some oil. I expect a bit of my cars and i do push them a little and this oil appears to perform well and I have noted between oil changes that although it goes black its viscostity or flow appears the same unlike previous oils that seem to thicken or go more syrup like in texture and dont seem to flow as well

I've noticed that my engine now maintains oil pressure throughout the day whilst being driven hard on the track. When I was using my previous brand of oil, the oil pressure used to drop noticeably. It was like the other oil would just Loose Viscosity and that's not good for your engine.I switched over to Penrite a couple of years ago from another so called top quality brand and have had no regrets about it at all. While not the cheapest oil available, this product does exactly what it claims to do.

Be careful buying these 10 Tenths Racing Oils as Penrite now say they are not suitable for motorbikes with wet clutches.Supposedly if the container still has a symbol of a motorbike on the label it's OK.Also be mindful that Penrite say their oil has a 5 year shelf life after which they can not guarantee the oils viscosity is still in grade anymore. Oil in store should still be OK as the change only occurred some 6-9 months ago.

There is a lot hype in the market from other manufacturers of Motor Oil claiming to be 100% synthetic oil. This is simply not true, the likes of Mobil, Castrol and the like are mineral based oils that are modified to imitate true synthetic molecules.Penrite Racing Oil is PURE 100% Ester and PAO synthetic oil. If Mobil and the like were 100% synthetic they would be using the Ester and PAO in their description too.Don't waste your money on anything else...I've been using Penrite Racing 10W-40 in a Mazda6 MPS 2.3 Turbo for the last 70,000km, car has a total of 130,000km and have noticed a reduce in Fuel economy from 10.5 to 10.1 litres per 100km. The engine is slowly breaking down all the gunk that was previously bonded to the internal head areas by inferior oils during Mazda services. The boron, zinc combination is pretty high for added protection and engine clean and seal protection too..And note this is a shear free oil.. The molecules wont breakdown under extreme loads like your modified oils will..People do your home work before buying anything else but Penrite Racing. You will find nothing comes close to price and spec as Penrite Racing. If you don't believe, Search for another Motor Oil that contains Ester and PAO base and is shear free and contains high levels of ZINC and BORON..Research what each of these elements do, Ester, PAO, boron and zinc. You will see that Penrite Racing is the best motor oil you can access on the aussie markettoday..PS I don't even work for Penrite.. but I probably should.
I use a combination (15/50 summer; 10/40 winter) of the Penrite racing oil in a '11 WR450 and '17 YZ450. The YZ has only 20 hrs, but I have just pulled down the WR to do the top end. R+R HC Wossner piston after 70 hrs following complete rebuild. Hotcams had around 50 hrs for a total of 120 hrs and remain as new, as do followers etc. Valve clearances were within spec but at limit. I run Recluse clutches and have not had any dramas. The bikes hold around 1 litre so changing at around 3-5 hrs depending on conditions. Highly recommend this oil for this application.
This oil is great. Not only Australian made but a proper Group IV full synthetic unlike most others on the market. This stuff goes one better though and is a Group IV and V Ester blend meaning it is much better than any Castrol Edge or Mobil 1 oils on the market for a similar price. Why on earth do people buy oils that are not proper full synthetics
I have a Subaru 2012 STI which was using Castrol Edge Professional when I got it. I have previously always used Penrites for my cars and this one was going to need the 10 tenth. Once I changed the oil the difference was extraordinary, the once noisy engine became almost silent. You can still hear the exhaust but there is no engine noise anymore. The idling RPM's have dropped, the acceleration is smoother and the feel of the car is improved.STI's are known to burn oil, this certainly was while using the Castrol, since swapping to the 10 tenths I have noticed a significant drop in the amount of oil being consumed. It is still burning oil, only it is now about 25% of what it used to be.I highly recommend this oil for any performance vehicles.
I’ve been using Penrite 10 Tenths 10w-40 in my chrysler 300 SRT 6.4L since I had a full engine rebuild due to a poor lifter after using the recommended 0w-40 which was far too thin.after rebuilding and installed a cam, i changed to 10w-40 and instantly was happy. The hemi tick is considerably lower, Due to this oil it has really improved the overall feel and drive of the car. No clapping of the lifters they are staying lubricated. I usually wait for the sales at SCA and grab a few bottles at a time. It has the full zinc protection which is a must for our vehicles, so it’s worth the investment to use quality oil.
It's common for WRXs to burn oil. I was using Motul 300v Chrono 10W40 in my WRX, but I would have to keep toping up the oil after long drives. I've now switched to Penrite 10 10ths 10W40 and the burning of oil has decreased significantly. This is a top quality oil.
Changing the engine oil from Castrol to Penrite in my supercharged VE. Beautiful and smooth on first start up. Even more impressive was the Penrite oil performance at Phillip Island. Usually when I return to the pits the motor has a slight lifter noise. Not with this oil. It’s absolutely superb. Highly recommend.
