Penrite HPR 10 is a premium, full synthetic 10W-50 engine oil featuring Penrite's Double Layer of engine wear protection. This oil incorporates Penrites Full Zinc additive package, creating a sacrificial layer on critical engine components to protect them from metal to metal contact and cold start wear. I have been using Penrite Hpr10 in all of my cars. i had a nissan S14 with 240000ks on the original motor and the car made 250kw. the hpr10 had the motor always clean and protected without any issues. Highly recommended

Excellent oil. Used it exclusively in a 2004 xr8 Falcon, which when I got rid of the car it had traveled 775000km & still didn't need a top up between 15000km services! Unheard of! I now also only use Penrite in my 530i BMW & 2013 Focus, with excellent reliability. And it's an Aussie company to boot. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Love this oil. I drive my vehicle fair hard most of the time and I have never have any issues with oil pressure. Great protection against wear and longevity. I usually change every 5,000 but I ran over to 9,000 and oil was still in great condition.
I changed the oil in the Hydra Gear transaxle on my ride-on mower after 15 years of service. These are supposed to be a "maintenance-free" system but that's nonsense because even good oil will be metallic grey sludge after so much use. Mine certainly was. Oil in hydro transmissions need to act as both hydraulic oil and gear oil in the same air-cooled unit. Mine called for a 20W-50 engine oil and I went straight for Penrite HPR10 10W-50 full synthetic to give it the best chance at surviving for the long term. The 5L bottle is great for doing a complete flush and refill on the 2.2L fill capacity. Now that it's purged and re-installed, it's hauling itself up steep slopes like a champion. Excellent quality oil , suitable for most vehicles , petrol or diesel . Australian made and owned as well so it supports a local business . My Landcruiser has done 700,000ks without any work to the motor , still runs like new . I use Penrite in all my vehicles .
Using this in a 97 civic with 332K kms. From 10w30 Honda to 5w30 / 5w40 castrol / nulon / shell to 5w40 penrite to this. I believe I’ll be sticking with this one finally. Vehicle seems to be in its final days but still going. Thinking of going penrite with all fluids but people say go genuine with coolant.
One of the only synthetic oils available for high mileage petrol cars. Highly recommended for 10 to 15+ year old cars that are starting to burn oil. Has good cold start protection and is suited perfectly to the hot Australian conditions. If you have a old European car I prefer Mobil1 5w-50, but that's double the price.
Top quality Australian made product. I even get slightly better fuel economy when using Penrite synthetic oils.
