Penrite HPR 5 is a premium, full synthetic 5W-40 engine oil featuring Penrite's Double Layer of engine wear protection. This oil incorporates Penrites Full Zinc additive package, creating a sacrificial layer on critical engine components to protect them from metal to metal contact and cold start wear. This oil also features Penrites Extra Ten technology, providing increased oil pressure and internal engine protection in high temperature and severe operating conditions. With a combination of the latest additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier, HPR 5 ensures addition protection against wear, corrosion, oil oxidation, piston deposits and sludge formation under high load conditions and high ambient temperatures. I have been a long time purchaser and avid fan of penrite oil for more than thirty years and I won't use anything else, I even run it in my lawn mower.I do love the new size container's available from Penrite and the easy poor funnels.Top Brand, top product and Australian.

Cheaper buying off ebay and having it delivered. Just got a 20litre online for $199 delivered. Bit of a no brainer. Services 2 cars for the year.
Very happy with Penrite products. The 10L HPR5 is a good option for me as there are two cars I have that use it, and both cars hold just under 5L each. Saves a bit of money buying the 10L when it's on sale, as opposed the two 5L bottles.The clear plastic pouring spout also works well.
Really great oil. Used it in my Range Rover diesel which specifies full synthetic oil. Gives you a great feeling of confidence knowing you have used such a good oil. I got it when Supercheap were offering a special price so it was really cheap. As a bonus I also got a credit on my club account (which I wasn't expecting) so I am over the moon with my first online purchase experience.
I’ve run this oil in my 6lt ve ss for 200,000kms and have had no issues with lifters or engine problems. Tried castrol oil but drained it out after 1000kms because of lifter noises. By far the best oil and that’s coming from a qualified mechanic for 30yrs
Since using other products, and getting poor results, ie 120,000 km spun main bearings. I have used Penrite. Their fully synthetic oils reduce start up noise, keep my diesel crankcase clean and have lowered my maintenance costs comparex with the same vehicle owned by others.200K km still no noise, leaks and turbo performance is the same as when it had 36K KM on the clock.Not to mention Penrite is 100% Australian Owned.
Been using Penrite products for 30 or so years. They have proven to be the best quality available, making a real difference to whatever vehicle using them. Competitive price to other brands as well.
Went in to buy a different brand oil ( didnt have any ) so the nice chap looked up what other oils I can use , and recommended the penrite oil so I bought it. I asked a diesel mechanic what he thought of it and that's all he uses in his car and that was enough for me
