Penrite HPR Diesel 10 is a high performance semi synthetic 10W-40, non-friction modified engine oil featuring Penrite's Double Layer of engine wear protection. This oil incorporates Penrites Full Zinc additive package, creating a sacrificial layer on critical engine components to protect them from metal to metal contact and cold start wear. This oil also features Penrites Extra Ten technology, providing increased oil pressure and internal engine protection in high temperature climates and severe operating conditions. Easy to pour without making a mess with the added nozzle attachment. As is is the perfect quantity for my engine, I always keep a used/empty container from the previous oil change for pouring old oil of current oil change into, then take to the free oil drop-off at my local waste transfer centre. It's a good system and makes DIY oil changes as clean and smooth as possible. Try and catch it on special as it can get a bit pricey.

I bought this oil to service my 2011 model 60 KVA Gen-Set prime mover. Namely a turbo charged 1103A-33TG2, 3 cylinder Perkins engine that requires an API CH-4, or equivalent multi-grade oil in the viscosity of SAE 10 or 15W40 for operating in environments with a temperature range from -10 degrees celcius to +50 degrees celcius. Very happy with the how this oil maintains it's color and protective characteristics after prolonged periods of heavy use. Keep up the good work Penrite!!!
Good product. If you keep your eye out, they do have super cheap stuff from time to time. I would say they should be called super convenient auto. It’s a bit more accurate than the name suggests a lot of the time.
Top quality Australian made product.Nozzle is worse than useless as it actually leads to spilling of oil. Get rid of it and swap it for a funnel. SCA staff should be suggesting you purchase a funnel on checkout.
Excellent australia made semi synthetic oil. I use it in my 2007 Mazda B2500 / BT50Turbo diesel ute 237000 klmsedid 7000 klm between last oil change, doesn’t use any oil
Using in my 07 Pajero did gen 4 common rail diesel. No dpf & egr off so it’s fine. However.. this oil isn’t full synthetic & a 10w-30 fs (esp with lower winter temps -2c to mid 20s) would be my preference. Nulon 10w-30 fs keeps engine quieter from experience but this will be ok for the time being. Included funnel & service sticker is something Nulon should offer too
Penrite is the best oil you can buy. I had a friend who worked on government bus engines. They used a few different oils over 10 years but noticed engine gunk. They switched to Penrite and the motors were spotless clean when getting rebuilt after 100s of thousands of ks. Told me ...only use Penrite.
It's oil. not really exciting except it stops your engine dying. one complaint is i wish the included spout/nozzle extended just a little longer. the combo of the size of the tub, the length of the spout etc mean you can still end up spilling a little oil unless you're very careful
