It’s the right oil for your lawnmower and whipper snipper if it’s a 4stroke motor! Plus it’s easier to use than a 1 litre bottle as it comes with the bendy pouring funnel, And it was 25% off sale!! Bonus!! Made sense to get it, I have 4stroke snipper, lawnmower and ride-on, I won’t have to buy oil for a while!!

Rubber breather on the pouring tube fell off into the container and then went into my zero turn engine. Would not recommend using the pouring tube supplied with this product.

The 2.5 litre tub comes with a flexible screw on spout to assist with getting the new oil into small fill holes. Very handy.

As with all penrite products. Suit the purpose you buy them for, use Penrite in all my cars and small engines
I use penrite in all my cars - from HPR 30 for my older models, to 5w40 synthetic for the newer cars. I believe a good quality oil is the best insurance against a costly engine rebuild, and although cheaper, supermarket alternatives meet similar specifications, I understand they have less margin of compliance than the higher quality -albeit more expensive - name brands. Use the best you can afford, you'll never save enough for a full engine replacement if your oil fails!
I'm no oil expert hence my 4 star rating. All I know is that I trust the Penrite brand no matter what product they sell. This one in particular was specified by them to use in my ride on tractor mower so I went ahead and used it for the first time.I have done approximately 5 hrs on this oil and the next interval is due in 45 hrs. I check oil level before each start including colour. Last check it looked ok.I think I'll use fully synthetic on the next oil service though as synthetics have the best overall protection.Support Australian made. Use Penrite or Nulon. Both Excellent products.
Have used this oil on several small engines and all seem to run nicely. The one thing I did like about it was its RED colour which was easy to see on checking the oil level in the engine. ( Last time purchased, looks like the colour has been changed back to normal looking oil )
Penrite's usual high quality oil for small machines. The 2.5 Ltr pack is perfect for an oil change and some spare for my petrol powered water blaster.
Thankyou to Supercheap for stocking such a large variety of oil products. In this instance this oil suits smallerr 4 stroke engines.
