A very nice pencil for those who likes light-weighted pencils. It's lead size, along with the long lead sleeve, really helps in drawing. Also looks very professional. I was under the misconception that the grip is metal after seeing the Pentel Graph 1000CS being a re-color of this pencil, but it is not. With that said, the pencil still performs very well for technical drawing and small handwriting. The lead breaks inside for some reason, but after taking out the lead, clearing the lead feed and replacing the lead, I never had anymore problems with that. Will buy it again if it is cheaper.

At first glance this pencil appears to be a slimmer, plastic version of the metal GraphGear 1000, for around the same price. However, the addition of "for Pro" to its name suggests that it is designed for much more precise use than its heavier and chunkier metal stablemate. This is a light, quite slim pencil with a comfortable rubber finger grip. I found it a delightful pencil to use and a worthy addition to any mechanical pencil stable. My only criticism is that the lead-grade indicator in the cap (a good idea) is biased to H grade leads, with only one B label.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite pencil i've ever used. A lot of this is based on personal preference, but as for stuff everyone can appreciate:-Solid construction. i've had no structural issues with this pencil since i bought it, even having dropped it on the tip a few times. with a little gentle bending, the tip was back in place, and working perfectly.-The included eraser works well, almost surpassing my preference for the Tombow Mono Zero.-The mechanism doesn't jam. in all the time i've owned this pencil, i've not ever had a jamming issue.

This is one of my favorite mechanical pencils that I own. I was a little hesitant to get the 0.3mm model at first, but this pencil provides spectacular control over the graphite. The body is slim and slender - it reminds me more of a pen than a mechanical pencil. The length of the body is good as well - provides control as a sort of counterbalance.Great for intricate Calculus equations and Physics diagrams. Good for extended periods of writing as well. When paired with Ain Stein graphite, this pencil TRULY shines.

Simply fantastic, if you're looking for a smooth yet steady grip then this is a good pencil for you, plus the little turning thing at the top; absolutely love pencils that let me know what type of lead I'm using just in case I forget. No lead has been stuck in the tip so far, seems like inside everything's placed in order. Also everything's easy to take apart so you won't struggle much. The price is worth it.

This is my first 0.3mm pencil and at first I didn’t like it as I wrote to thin, but after a while I found great use for it. I have very small handwriting but have always stayed in the 0.5mm range. But I’ve been wanting to try this pencil as I heard many good things about the 0.5mm version.First thing is that 0.3mm wasn’t good for me for speed writing. I hold my pencils very firmly and press against paper with a lot of weight, so there’s a lot of pressure on pen tips and pencil lead. As such, I couldn’t use this for class notes. However, it did work wonderfully when I was writing on my own desk at home, whether for taking margin notes or writing through work books. The pen is sturdy as my other Graph Gear, though some of the black paint around the grip has started ... MoreThis is my first 0.3mm pencil and at first I didn’t like it as I wrote to thin, but after a while I found great use for it. I've had this pencil for two months and can say that it's amazing. I mainly use it when drawing and taking notes. It's very light for a drafting pencil, which means that you can draw or write for hours without wearing out your hand. I also don't see the calluses that form when you tend to use a heavier pencil. The grip is comfortable, and the pencil fits very well (I have a very small hand, though, so if you have large hands, you might find that the pencil is too slim).I bought the Pentel Graph Gear 1000 for 0.4 mm (who could resist that color, lead size and retractable tip!?) but find that this pencil is becoming my go-to pencil. In fact, I'm debating getting the Pro version, but for 0.4 mm--mainly because it's so light and doesn't make my hand tired.Ugh. I consider this to be an all plastic version of the more refined Staedtler 925. The grip works well and the weight and balance of the pencil makes it easy to control. As with most less expensive plastic mechanical pencils there was the smallest amount of play in the graphite but nothing that should give anyone pause to try this solid mechanical pencil. I also like the fact that the clip is short so that it does not interfere with my hand as I twirl the pencil in my hand during writing. Overall, not a must have pencil but one I would likely place in my top 5 and definitely in my top 10.

Really good stuff, very well designed !

A very good mecanic pencil : light and well balanced, and made with quality materials : most important parts are made in aluminium and the part which guide the lead advance (inside) is brass made. It's really good stuff, well designed, and it's quite rare. Even the clip is convenient, because it is short and it does not interfere with the grip when writing... I use it for sketching (using the excellent Uni nano Dia blue leads) and it's perfect in my opinion. I recommand !
