Love this. It acts as much as a light gel as it does a conditioning balm, thus helping keep my beard in place as well as smooth throughout the day. I have fairly sensitive skin and the balm doesn't bother it at all (I have problems with some other heavily fragranced beard products).I tend to use the balm in conjunction with a little beard oil, which seems to work well (a little oil combed through the beard first, followed by a little balm, applied with the hand only). The balm also helps slightly darken my beard (a bonus as I've very blonde facial hair).Definitely one of the better beard products that I've used.

I've tried several beard oils and balms, but this is by far the best. This wins the prize for the most natural ingredients and smells great - the scent seems to last all day (its sort of woody/citrusy). It does a good job at controlling the wispy bits, and generally makes my beard look more orderly. I have a short/medium length beard and this seems to work well, but I am sure it would work for slightly shorter or longer beards.

The consistency of this is great, gives good hold to my beard. However the stench of it is awful. My sense of smell is very poor, but I had to wash this out after a couple of hours because I could not stand it.

I bought this recently so that I could train my moustache to grow sideways. It won't happen over night, in fact it will probably take about three months, but this product certainly does the job and holds my moustache where I want it. I couldn't ask for more!
Given that this is the ONLY moustache wax Boots stock, I had high hopes. I thought Percy Nobleman would have been tested to destruction! In reality, though, it's middling. I think I will be sticking with the competitor that I normally use (purchased from a well-known online retailer).GOOD:* Provides reasonably good hold* Made in England* Smells good (a bit too reminiscent of vanilla for me - I prefer cedarwood, or something like that - but it's fine)* Comes in a nice tin (the screw lid doesn't bother me) - but then they usually do!NOT SO GOOD* Inconsistent when softening up between the fingers. Some of it softens up immediately leaving me with harder 'suds' that take a little more time.* Once it has softened it feels a bit on the oily side - I ... MoreGiven that this is the ONLY moustache wax Boots stock, I had high hopes. I prefer the little 15ml jars and tins that I usually get from another brand.I will always buy from Boots, if possible, over tax-avoiding retail giants - but my moustache is unwilling to compromise just because this is the only wax in stock. More options, please!
I bought this recently and found that it does exactly what it claims to do. It's very easy to apply and both softens and helps to control an unruly beard. Added to that it smells nice and is not greasy, so any excess is easy to rub into the hands. This is a excellent product.
I like the Percy Nobleman range, the beard balm and the beard oil is great. Unfortunately the moustache wax isn't the best, only holding slightly more than a beard balm/wax. After applying it seems fine, once it settles into your moustache, it's affected further by body temperature and it all goes wrong. Constantly having to reshape with my moustache comb to get it back in place. I don't think I'd buy this specific product again, although I'd still go for the other products in the range.
I have the big brands and some off brand balms and creams. This is been the best, I have psoriasis and it has actually been really helpful for my face beneath my beard without causing any flare ups.
Moustache Wax 20ml by "Percy Nobleman"I have used it on several occasions now and find it a very good product for keeping the shape I am looking for with my slightly curled up Tash.Does what I expect it should do so I am pleased with that. Bees wax is a good and convienient way to do what I want and carying it around if needed is easy with the small "20ml" tin. reccommend product for sure. (soften with small blow torch lighter.) :>)-
Purchased this wax today and was a little disappointed with the fragrance as I thought with all the ingredients it would be more pleasant. After applying it seems to hold well but I’ve had a few second opinions who all say it snarls of urine. Not nice to have under your nose. I’m disappointed in myself for using it as I can now no longer return it.
Works best with longer or bristly beards that are in need of some TLC. Provides protection from the elements and a soft hold with a pleasant, lasting fragrance. Made from an interesting mix of Jojoba Oil, Shea butter & Beeswax, the balm is also lightly scented with Patchouli, Cedarwood & Dark Orange oils. The balm is mouldable and soft making application effortless. For best use, warm the balm between your fingers before rubbing into your facial hair.
