Perfect Hair Day Conditioner by Living Proof for Unisex - 8 oz Conditioner

I wanted to try this line since the girl at my blowout bar said she loves it. I feel that now that I've been using this shampoo and conditioner for a couple of months, I have been very underwhelmed by it. I expected (for the price) that I would notice significant improvement in my hair's overall health and condition. But I feel like I get the same results with the OGX line I used to use and it is less than half the price. I have not done anything else to my hair like color or chemical treatments that would have negated the effectiveness of the shampoo/conditioner. But the last straw for me to never want to buy this again was the bottle. I have rheumatoid arthritis and so my hand strength is weakened but still decent. However since the bottles are a slim, square shape and taper up towards the top, it is so hard to squeeze any decent amount of product out at a time. I don't know if they did this on purpose to prevent you from using too much, but now that my bottles are nearly empty, it is to the point of frustration trying to get enough product out for my long, thick hair even despite storing the bottles upside down. I am even contemplating cutting the bottles open since the lids don't screw off because I refuse to throw away any of this product that I paid so much for. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I wanted to love this as much as I love their dry shampoo.

I am obsessed with both the Living Proof perfect hair day shampoo and conditioner. Just for reference, my hair isn’t color treated and very fine. I have an oily scalp and since i live in a hot climate, I need to wash my hair every day. This conditioner makes my hair soft, shiny, and manageable... plus it smells amazing! This conditioner makes my hair shine like glass. It literally gleams. I usually don’t use the same brand of shampoo/conditioner every day and tend to switch off. I can honestly tell the difference when I use Perfect Hair Day. My hair just looks and feels better. It feels easier to style, and i cannot stop touching it throughout the day because it is so soft. I tried to use a universal pump I had but due to the fact that Living Proof jumbos are smaller, the universal pump didn’t fit.... just a couple annoyances, but nothing big enough to take away my 5 star rating. I must say that I have been very pleased with most of the Living Proof products I have tried.

Hello smooth, shiny, easy to detangle hair!

Living Proof comes through with another great product, with the new & improved Perfect Hair Day conditioner.I’ve got long, thick, slightly wavy Asian hair that is currently dry from a long winter of resorting to the hair dryer and flat iron instead of air drying. My hair also tends to frizz up due to its slightly wavy texture.PhD conditioner delivers and instantly smoothed out my hair, adding plenty of shine and reducing frizz even after just one use. IIt’s also so much easier to detangle my hair! Incredibly disappointing

Used to be a Godsend! but they changed the formula at some point last year. Was attributing my dry/damaged hair and fall out to overdyed hair and getting older, maybe even stress. However, I finally stopped using first the shampoo first, and then the conditioner, and now my hair is slowly going back to what it used to be! Less fallout, softer, healthier. So disapointed. Will never go back.

Love this conditioner

Much like the shampoo I love the conditioner. I have been using this conditioner for over 2 years (longer than the shampoo), and I love it. My hair is soft even in hard water areas, however it isn’t greasy or heavy. The conditioner helps define my curls. My hair went from damaged dyed hair to soft, shiny, and healthy!! Love this conditioner!!

OK NOT AMAZING

I love the Living Proof products and they have become a firm staple. However, I cannot say that the shampoo and conditioners make much of a difference to my hair. They smell amazing and I like using them as a treat as they feel luxurious, but results wise they are not my favourite. I instead opt for their stylers and treatments which still smell amazing, last ages, and show results. These are a nice treat though!

The conditioner doesn't work as I expect

My hair background: black, thin, straight. My scalp is oily, but my hair end is a little bit dry. Medium porosity.I was recommended by a Sephora staff to use this conditioner. As I finished this whole bottle (and I have been using this for 6 months), I wrote this review about my experience with it.At first, I want a conditioner that does not make my hair greasy as my hair is already oily, but still provides hydration and leave my hair soft. It does provide enough hydration and not make my hair greasy, but I cannot feel my hair soft.It is indicated "adds serious shine, making dull, dry hair look and feel healthier." Well... Transformed my hair

I love this shampoo and conditioner combo! My hair is so soft and shiny without being weighed down. Usually my hair feels dry and no matter what I do it still dry at the ends and frizzy. Not with this! I have long medium hair and this just had transformed my hair. I used to use all soft by redken and it worked until it didn’t. After one wash with living proof my hair has been so soft! It’s not longer dry and feels and looks so healthy. So glad I made the switch

Will be returning

I was so excited to find a product that can protect my hair from heat damage for those days that you need an extra touch up. I am telling you the worst smelling product ive ever put in my hair. I washed my entire comforter and sheets, clothes and all because i could figure out what the awful mildy water, BO smell was. It was this heat protectant. Easily the worst stench that has ever crawled its way up my nostrils. So sad
