Persol Folding Sunglasses PO0714 24/31

I got the Persol folding sunglasses and they seem to be authentic (which was a small concern given the low price) and I was very happy with them. I say WAS because I left them at the park on like the third day I had them! So mad but I'll be getting another pair from the site so I guess that is a review in itself.One thing is that I paid for 1-5 day shipping and I got them on the 6th day but other than that, great experience.

I first learned of Persol sunglasses when borrowing a pair from a classmate on a hiking trip. The quality of the frame and crystal lenses is obviously apparent. The pair I borrowed was dropped multiple times and left no scratches. These fold-able ones have this same apparent quality. The crack in the nose bridge is hardly noticeable. The lighting in the advertised product image makes the color of the frame and arms more vibrant yellow than it actually is. The color is actually a more honey-yellow in person. I actually like that as it gives it an even classier look. The only problem I had was that on the image advertised, the case is shown. I guess I misread the description and thought a case was included but was actually just the box, certificates and microfiber cloth.

I have been looking at Persol 0714's for a while now. In the area I live I have a national chain sun glass shop that does carry them but with limited stock. I had the opportunity to check out a pair in the shop but didn't want to pay the $300 plus price tag. I then found them on Designeroptics.com for less than half the price in the brick and mortar shop. I decided to give them a try and placed my order. They were quickly shipped and arrived a few days later. I couldn't be happier with the product. They were packed as they should have been, with all the proper documentation, tag, cleaning cloth, case and box.
