You may choose to spend some free time bonding with your acquaintances or friends, spends some free time to improve your social skills, and even get tested on actual topics that may had evaded you in school. However, you can explore worlds that are not seen but influence the minds of people and corrupt hearts. This is where the combat unfolds, as you can battle or negotiate with enemies, and even befriend them, as the combat allows you to use these monsters (Personas) to exploit enemy weakness or fuse them to something greater.Being the Royal edition, it also features DLC that was initially for PS4, but it's also free now, being a great help for starters.Don't fear the difficulty, there are settings for everyone, from those who want a challenge to those that just want the story.Music:Genres that go from acid jazz to rock, perfectly brings the atmosphere together. Whether you relax and talk with your friends, or confront enemies with hype and might, the music makes you feel powerful, stylish, and chill at the right moments.Tuning:While there seems to be plenty of settings, unfortunately some essentials seem to lack, which may improve framerate even more on low end computers. I do wish that some aspects could be toggled like level of NPCs, and the like. Video cutscenes can have lag ton low end devices unless set up to lower resolutions beforehand. More modern PCs should have less issues, as there are still some cases of problems on PCs with good specifications.

Pretty good RPG. There are a lot of tutorials this game throws at you that there were some features I didn't even know about until after I finished the game. The combat is not the most intuitive it can be, but it's still a lot of fun. I didn't look up anything and instead discovered all the weaknesses the monsters have on my own and I recommend everyone do the same because it's really fun figuring it out on your own. It took me 100 hours to beat the game but it always felt fresh because I always felt I was getting better at it. The game also has amazing animation done by production IG which looks super professional and movie quality. It's used all over the game and I love it. Everything else about the game though, is serviceable but not great. The social links are very formulaic and so is the story (there's a lot of overlap). There are several lines that will make you groan and a lot of anime-isms I personally find very obnoxious, like characters pointing out things that are really obvious or having flashbacks to things that happened 15 minutes earlier. It's not offensively bad, but it did not connect with me at all.

You know why you're here. Persona 5 had been out for about a decade now to critical acclaim and now, finally, it's on all platforms for everyone to enjoy. For those who don't know by now, somehow, this game prides itself on hundreds of hours of meaningful content and an extremely addictive game loop. You have to balance your school and social life on top of basically being the bat league with your friends, fighting "crime" in the shadows to reform society, all while evading the watchful eye of the police. The story is incredibly rich, the sound track is banging and the Royal version only doubles down on it.There's is no game on earth more deserving of it's Triple A price tag than Persona 5 and now that it's on PC, you can take it even further beyond with mods ... MoreYou know why you're here. Check out Game Banana for Reloaded II for details on how to get started start. There's a ton of fun to have on this game and the fun never stops for the Phantom Thieves. Well... Sorta.

I rarely buy my games at first days of release especially for single player games, but being a persona fan, this is one of the exception I will make. Have been waiting to play this game since it was out on console.I've spend about 20 hours in this game so far, and here what it feels to me:pro :- its persona : you still have the life sim and dungeon crawl.- it comes with Japanese dub : nothing against english dub actor/actress, but I'm just used to having Japanese dub and would hate it otherwise.- there is now fast travel between checkpoint of the dungeon- save anywhere as long as you're not in dungeon/citscenecon :- I'm not a big fan of stealthy game, and the theme of this game you're a "phantom thief" so ....- even after playing this many hours, I feel ... MoreI rarely buy my games at first days of release especially for single player games, but being a persona fan, this is one of the exception I will make. I generally don't care about game soundtrack, but persona 4 battle theme was the best I've ever heard, and I've played alot of game (especially JRPG).- the dungeon feels .. long ...Overall I would still recommend this game, and I still enjoy this game just because it scratch the itch I have of persona game. However, unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much as persona 4 .
This game is my absolute favourite in the series, joker is the best character throughout the persona world. The gameplay is extremely fun although a little restrictive at times, For it been a turn based game which usually I would never normally play, this is an extremely addictive game. My love for joker has me completely enthralled, I find it hard to put the game down. The game is a bit pricey if buying brand new, but honestly its money well spent. Buying it second hand for cheaper was merely a stroke of luck for me, but I would have paid whatever I had to for the game. My only issue with this game is the lack of a female protagonist option, I dislike been forced to play the opposite gender to my own. I purchased this video game for my god daughter. She is absolutely engrossed by the storyline. She is at the age where everything is cool one day and lame the next. That is OK, she is at an age where children are discovering who they are. It is important to find games that show children they are not alone, that everyone goes through these changes. She loves Japanese Anime and is swiftly approaching High School age. This game is about everything she loves. Hanging out with friends. A strong sense of justice, and what is right and what is wrong. Simply put, she loves it! Thank you so much for bringing this video game to my attention. I've been her hero for nearly two weeks. She absolutely loves to tell me everything about it. I love listening to anything she is passionate about. I love my godchildren and I am so glad that she found a series that she can grow up with. You see? My godson is easy, he gets a lot of attention and loves the typical things 10 year olds love. Pokémon, Zelda, and Harry Potter. She is much more reserved and shopping for her has become rather difficult over the years. This was a home run. I couldn't have done better if I could read her mind itself. Thank you so much!
I usually play action adventure role-playing games - like Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite and more recently the Hogwarts game. The closest I’ve come to getting into a JRPG is Pokémon but with the hype and its availability on Gamepass - I decided to give Persona 5 Royal a try… This game is addictive! It’s kind of story heavy at times but it’s got its hooks in me! The characters are really fun, well rounded and endearing. The gameplay loop varies from battling and collecting Personas (like the aforementioned Pokémon games) and managing a social life as a student. A frustrating part is that some days are “scripted” as the player advances the story but in all honesty it encourages me to get lots of stuff done in the “free time” available to me.The story is bonkers! It’s so much fun, it might have opened up the world of anime for me. I love Miyazaki films but never really gave anime a shot - P5R might be my gateway. The music is all bangers! Sometimes I’m just wandering around in real life with some of the everyday music just casually playing in the back of my mind.I purchased this game so in case it ever falls off Gamepass or I end my subscription I will have it! I really want to complete this game if nothing else - I love it!
As someone who has played both the original persona 5 and persona 5 royal on PS4, this game is just as good as I remembered. With the new silky smooth frame rate and sharpened visuals, alongside the entire pantheon of dlc, this is the definitive way to play the game on consoles. I do, however, have one complaint. The PS5 version of the game doesn't let you transfer your save files from your PS4 version of the game, meaning you are forced to start from a completely new save. Any new game plus profile you have progress in is unable to transfer, meaning you have to start from scratch. This was devastating for me to discover, and a little frustrating since the only differences between this version and the ps4 version is higher frame rates and crisper visuals. They are the exact same game. It should not be a arduous task to set up a way for PS4 persona 5 royal files to be converted to PS5 persona 5 royal files. That is the only reason this version of the game is not getting 5 stars from me.
When I first played Persona 5 back in 2018, I could help but feel the whole time that I wosh it was on th switch so I could take it with me and play for short bits whenever I had down time. The game is long, but it is one of the most unique and stylish turn-based rpgs ever made. Everything about Persona 5 is enthralling, from the music, to the characters, to the story, to the strategic combat. Persona 5 Royal took the vanilla release and added a ton of new and interesting content. The switch release looks and runs great. You will not miss out on anything by getting the switch version. If you are at least a little interested in the game and were thinking about getting it for switch, I would highly recommend! The steelbook is very nice if still available.
Purchased the original P5 game on the PS3 and beat it, logging in 120+ hours. Loved it. Got P5R on the PS4 and now I got it on the Switch. By far, the Switch is the most accessible way to play the game. With the added content since the original P5 game, this game will clock in well over the 120 hours. Surprisingly, this game runs really well on Nintendo's handheld consol. Now, as a product from Best Buy, the product was shipped one day earlier than expected, which is very nice. (Note: this is the standard version of the game, so you won't be getting the day one steel book. Other than that, the in-game contents are all the same, with the previous DLC already included on the game cartridge.)
