The combat is incredibly fun and I like how unlike other JRPGs it isn't grindy at all and encounters aren't forced on you constantly allowing you to better appreciate it when you engage in Palace infiltration or entering the Mementos. Overall this is a must play to anyone familiar with JRPGs or an open mind, it's one of those games that many including myself find so engaging and encapsulating it becomes extremely difficult to put down for very long at all.

This is where the combat unfolds, as you can battle or negotiate with enemies, and even befriend them, as the combat allows you to use these monsters (Personas) to exploit enemy weakness or fuse them to something greater.Being the Royal edition, it also features DLC that was initially for PS4, but it's also free now, being a great help for starters.Don't fear the difficulty, there are settings for everyone, from those who want a challenge to those that just want the story.Music:Genres that go from acid jazz to rock, perfectly brings the atmosphere together. Whether you relax and talk with your friends, or confront enemies with hype and might, the music makes you feel powerful, stylish, and chill at the right moments.Tuning:While there seems to be plenty of settings, unfortunately some essentials seem to lack, which may improve framerate even more on low end computers. I do wish that some aspects could be toggled like level of NPCs, and the like. Video cutscenes can have lag ton low end devices unless set up to lower resolutions beforehand. More modern PCs should have less issues, as there are still some cases of problems on PCs with good specifications.

I have bought this game 3 times now and I regret nothing.Playing this at 120 fps after being stuck at 30 fps since 2017 feels so good it should be illegal. And not gonna complain about getting all the DLC for free.My only problem is the price. Could've made it $60 AUD ($40 USD) since it is an old game. P4G was only $30 AUD ($20 USD) when it came out on steam and that was absolutely instrumental to it selling so well, and definitely kick-started the Persona franchises success on PC. But again, considering all the DLC which was previously sold seperately and totalled at least $50 AUD (this is a low ball figure, pretty sure it was closer to $100 AUD) is bundled with the game softens the blow a bit. It got me through the worst few months of my life, and finally having it on steam is a dream come true for me. Probably the best and one of most approachable JRPG's ever aswell, definitely is in my experience. If you're on the fence about games like this please just try this one. If this doesn't sell you on them, nothing will. One of the best turn-based combat systems ever created, great characters, an excellent story, and fantastic music all culminates into one of the best games ever made.

Persona 5 was my first experience with a Persona game, or with a Shin Megami Tensei game really. All I can say is this game oozes style and quality in almost every aspect, with some outstanding music and a gorgeous art style as well as probably some of the best turn-based combat I have ever experienced. On top of all that, the characters, world, and story are all excellent with some truly loveable cast members as well as some absolutely despicable villains. What's more, is the whole time management life-sim type stuff. Who do I spend my time with? Do I train? Read a book? Or chill out in the baths with some old geezers and increase my charm further? All in all, Persona 5 is an absolute blast that should not be missed and has a ton of content to experience and enjoy,

Check out Game Banana for Reloaded II for details on how to get started start. There's a ton of fun to have on this game and the fun never stops for the Phantom Thieves. Well... Sorta.

Best game in the series

This game is my absolute favourite in the series, joker is the best character throughout the persona world. The gameplay is extremely fun although a little restrictive at times, For it been a turn based game which usually I would never normally play, this is an extremely addictive game. My love for joker has me completely enthralled, I find it hard to put the game down. The game is a bit pricey if buying brand new, but honestly its money well spent. Buying it second hand for cheaper was merely a stroke of luck for me, but I would have paid whatever I had to for the game. My only issue with this game is the lack of a female protagonist option, I dislike been forced to play the opposite gender to my own. [Rewarded Review] Amazing role playing game!
8 December 2023

This is a masterful triumph that exceeds all expectations. The enhanced storyline adds depth to an already captivating narrative, keeping players on the edge of their seats. The revamped graphics showcase the vibrant, stylish world of Tokyo like never before. New characters seamlessly integrate into the ensemble, contributing to the emotional impact of the game. The strategic turn-based combat remains engaging, while the addition of powerful personas enhances the gameplay experience. P5R is a testament to meticulous game design, offering an unforgettable journey with its impeccable blend of storytelling, visuals, and gameplay. A must-play for RPG enthusiasts.

[Rewarded Review] Great game, highly rated, Get only when on sale.
3 January 2024

Buy only when on sale! Better graphics than the PS4 version. Still the same story line. Same game as PS4 version, nothing new. If you can get the PS4 version at a lower price, collect that version instead until price for the PS5 version comes down. It is a shame that these software companies do not offer anything new in the PS5 version but feel entitle to charge a exorbitant high price. If you're lucky to get it at $19.99 when in sale go ahead and get it, otherwise get the PS4 version which plays on both consoles PS4 & PS5. I am not reviewing the game because there are excellent reviews out there in the internet and YouTube. The game always rate up in the best 10 for any console.

I purchased this video game for my god daughter. She is absolutely engrossed by the storyline. She is at the age where everything is cool one day and lame the next. That is OK, she is at an age where children are discovering who they are. It is important to find games that show children they are not alone, that everyone goes through these changes. She loves Japanese Anime and is swiftly approaching High School age. This game is about everything she loves. Hanging out with friends. A strong sense of justice, and what is right and what is wrong. Simply put, she loves it! Thank you so much for bringing this video game to my attention. I've been her hero for nearly two weeks. She absolutely loves to tell me everything about it. My godson is easy, he gets a lot of attention and loves the typical things 10 year olds love. Pokémon, Zelda, and Harry Potter. She is much more reserved and shopping for her has become rather difficult over the years. This was a home run. I couldn't have done better if I could read her mind itself. Thank you so much!

I usually play action adventure role-playing games - like Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite and more recently the Hogwarts game. The closest I’ve come to getting into a JRPG is Pokémon but with the hype and its availability on Gamepass - I decided to give Persona 5 Royal a try… This game is addictive! It’s kind of story heavy at times but it’s got its hooks in me! The characters are really fun, well rounded and endearing. The gameplay loop varies from battling and collecting Personas (like the aforementioned Pokémon games) and managing a social life as a student. A frustrating part is that some days are “scripted” as the player advances the story but in all honesty it encourages me to get lots of stuff done in the “free time” available to me.The story is bonkers!
