So I was so excited for this product having a hound pup. And it was very convenient, although it used up its solution extremely quickly and needed to be emptied every couple of minutes that’s a trade for portability. However, it began to leak within 1.5 months of purchase. I ended up going right back to my plug in cleaners. It was convenient and had a great concept, but perhaps I’d recommend for much smaller dogs. Maybe my dog was a job too big for this. At first I would give 5 stars but to going to no use and storing in the sink after 1.5 months. 2 stars. Please improve.

I love this portable carpet cleaner. I have used this thing for Animal urine stains, stains in my car upholstery, stains on my couch and the most recent for stains in a mattress! It’s super convenient because it is cordless, it is not heavy, and there is a reservoir that holds a dirty water. The one downside I would say is that I wish it came with like a scrubby attachment. There are bristles at the mouth, but I want more to assist with rubbing out the stains when you apply the cleaning solution. Overall, a great investment to clean use and cordless. 

We already had a full sized nice vacuum with a pet attachment. I didn’t think we needed this handheld pet vacuum until we bought it. WOW! we absolutely needed this. High quality, good suction, pet hair seems to just disappear off of fabric instead of getting stuck. It’s far more effective, faster, easier than using the full size vacuum’s hose attachment. Buy this! Don’t think twice.

Convenient and Effective

I've used this machine twice now. The first thing that I liked about it was it was really easy setup. All of the instructions were conveniently located on the outside of the machine which made it really easy to get to know the features. I added the solution that was provided with the machine and set it to charge (I love that this machine has the go-anywhere convenience of being cordless!) I let the machine charge for about an hour and it was ready to go. I've had 2 fairly dark spots on my carpets which I was unsure of the cause. I sprayed the solution with the push of a button & started to agitate the carpet with the brush while attached. I used the brush by hand to scrub the deep set stain and was able to scrub it out without having to move the whole machine back and forth a lot &I used the machine to suck up the solution. The machine was a little heavy to hold at the suggested angle while holding it one-handed so I ended up having to use both. I felt the machine could have sucked up more of the liquid, it left it fairly damp but not saturated . Still, there was dark yucky water in the reservoir. The machine was effective and way more convenient than the little Green cleaner that I had used in the past. The one thing about the machine that I felt could've been designed more functional was the dirty water tank drain. When cleaning out the machine, the location of the drain made it a little tricky to get all of the dirty water out. I found myself having to tilt it back and forth several times to allow the water to completely drain out. I still feel this machine did a great job for it's intended purpose & I will be keeping it handy for jobs around my house. I can't wait to try it in my minivan too! A great tool for anyone with pets or kids!

All I did was filled the tank and set about getting the areas ready, I vacuumed both spots first, then I turned then bissell pet stain eraser on by pressing down on the button on the handle, pulled the trigger to release the cleaner and let the cleaner do its thing and sit for about 5 mins, came back turned then bissell pet stain eraser back on, went about sucking up the mess just like the big one by pressing down and pulling towards me to suck up the excess water( it was dirty). It worked and so far I love everything about it. I have dogs which one is a older husky and the other is an older Chihuahua and this has been perfect for cleaning my furniture and where the pets get and lay. It is also been great for just cleaning up a spill from one of the children on the carpets or rug. They seem to want to pour everything at the fridge so my carpet is easily spilled upon a lot. My teenage son can easily use it, so it helps him with his cleaning up after himself. Less work on me in those times when he actually wants to use it and clean some. I have noticed if he happens to spill the tea or juice he will use it as he quickly learned that becomes sticky due to the sugar in the drinks itself. Don't need to leave that mess and have a bigger problem later with possibly ants coming in the house. This is Bissel Pet Stain Eraser is made very well. It's been very durable, held up well each time we have used it and should last a long time with proper cleaning after using and long term caring of the product itself. Now you can't just do what needs to be done and not clean it then expect it to last a while. It doesn't work like that because the next time it's still dirty. Be sure to clean it throughly after each use. It's light weight, easy to hold on to, easy to carry with you to different areas that need to be cleaned and just so easy to use and don't take long at all to use it. I personally love that it can be charged and then used cordless, that's a wonderful feature for our family. The cordless part helps a lot when I'm not close to an electrical socket and having to work and trying not to trip over cords. The cordless way is so much simpler and easier on everyone. I think the price of it is perfect for how well it works and how easy it is to use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something that really works well on stains, etc. no it doesn't just have to be pet stains. I'm telling you it works for all stains around the house. The quicker you can clean them up after they occur the better the outcome. I have realized this when using it but it also works on other other older stains as well just in my opinion not as well as new fresher ones. I would buy another in the future. Once I removed everything from the packaging I read the enclosed user guide thoroughly, which is simple to read and understand. With a family of 5, a cat and dog living in the house there is always some small mess to clean up on the carpet, and who has time to drag out the full size time consuming carpet cleaner for these type of small messes, this is where the Bissell Pet Stain Eraser is ideal. I simply remove the formula reservoir fill to the full line with cleaning solution and reattach, press the power button on, tilt up the very lightweight cleaner on a slight angle over the stain and press the spray trigger to saturate the stain without over wetting it. I then use the attached bristled scrub brush to scrub over the spot thoroughly, then pull the cleaner backwards numerous times to suck up all the dirty solution. I also check to make sure the dirty water does not exceed the full line on the dirty water reservoir tank, when I'm finished I remove that tank with the release button, pull out the attached drain plug disposing of the dirty water and rinse along with the formula tank, front nozzle and bristle cleaning brush which also can be removed easily with just clean water. Completely satified with the results each of the 3 times I have used it thus far.

I'm not one that takes time to give reviews but this little machine has me saying WOW!!! I am totally impressed by it! I was hesitate at first but after it first use I was hooked!!! It does such a wonderful job on all the little messes that happen whether it be from pets, grandchildren or even myself, it's gotten old spots out of my kitchen rugs making them look new again so much easier than those big bulky walk behind machines so if you're on the fence about getting it grab one it is worth the money

One of my greatest regrets

I bought this about a year ago, and it was only "fun" to use once. It was a mistake at first, as I asked my father to pick something up (I have severe sensory issues related to mask wearing, so I'm taking every other covid-related precaution I can, including not leaving the house) to deep clean the rugs in my bedroom and the living room. This wasn't the thing I had asked for, but this is what I got.The dirty water storage tank is oddly shaped and nearly impossible to clean properly, resulting in mold growth in the crevices that you can't really do anything about--you have to do a disinfectant soak after every use to stay ahead of the problem. Simple, effective, convenient

I absolutely love this little machine! I have a full-size Bissell upright that has an attachment but it seem to be a pain in the neck to pull out for little messes. Now whenever there is a small pet accident, I can just grab this and use it immediately and it works just as well if not better than my huge upright. The fact that it is cordless makes it even better. Highly recommend!

Truly the most disgusting product I have ever owned.

I don't know what kind of messes this is supposed to clean up, but aside from very weak suction and an inability to work without significant water/product use, this thing is a nightmare to clean. I made the mistake of letting it sit for a week and truthfully I don't know if I'll be able to stomach trying to clean it again.The water reservoir (where the dirty water goes) has so many nooks and crannies and cannot be removed to properly clean out. I tried until I gagged and then I was basically done. I can never use this product for its intended purpose again.Basically garbage. If I could get my money back, I would, but it was a gift.Save your money and clean up your pet messes with elbow grease and save yourself some frustration.
