My cat is a senior, and her coat had begun to mat in a few spots. It was going to cost big dollars and the need to put her to sleep for a professional to shave the mat off. I didn't want to put her under, so I purchased this trimmer to try to see if we could remove the small mats in her fur. It was a two person job, hubby holding and comforting her whilst I slowly shaved the mat off. She refused to speak to me for two days afterwards, but her mats are gone. There was no need to shave her whole coat, and the trimmer has guides on the blades to help separate the skin from the blade. Very important to read the instructions to make sure it's done safely and properly. Now we can use it as soon as she gets a mat, and her stress will be reduced.

To the customer reading my comment,I have a siamese and a ragdoll, the ragdoll is more fluffy so i decided to read the comments also before i bought. My ragdoll his miittts were soo fluffy i couldnt see his toe beans 😄 and thought this would be the perfect product! and then i was like HMMM the sound? so i went ahead and purchased it AND the delievery was soo quick (arrived on a saturday arvo)for the sound we put some music on background to fade out the buzzing/vibration sound but you dont really need music on either it was fine.. our ragdoll hes just a drama queen.firstly we used the product on the girl (siamese) it came charged (which was great) then halfway it died out which is fine, plugged it on charge and continued later.
