I decided to give this oil a try in our 2009 R56 Mini Cooper as its BMW longlife 04 compatible, and also because it's slightly cheaper than some of the better known brands.The oil has been in the mini for about 3 months now and the car has been running every bit as well as it did on Castrol Edge. I've not marked the product down because of this, I do feel the packaging is of satisfactory quality, but if petronas are looking to improve on the product it's packaging might be a good place to start.Another advantage is that Petronas have chosen to sell this oil in a useful 5 litre bottle. Most oils are sold in 4L bottles and as our MINI takes 4.2L the 5L bottle leaves some oil left over for top ups. Given that this product is already better value than most the extra litre in the bottle makes this even more cost effective.Overall I'm very happy with this oil, based on my experiences so far I certainly intend on purchasing this product again in the future.

Looks like oil, smells like oil. What do I know if it's any good or not? I don't have a scientific laboratory to test it. Package looks genuine enough... so I assume it's ok.
so far so good. This product seemed to offer good value compared to other brands. No noticeable problems with the product so far.My only criticism is the bottle itself; because of the shape of the neck of the bottle, the oil tends to glug out in waves. I think on first attempt, I managed to spill as much oil over the engine as I managed to get into the engine. You will have to use a funnel. This has not been an issue with other brands I've used.

i have used before this type PETRONAS engine oils and i am going to use them in the future,engines are running very smooth and silently.i do oil changes on my cars every 5k-6k miles using only MANN filters.
