I love this product and would definitely recommend. I set it so that my cat can get two feeds (I use it with dry food only) while I'm at work. It has never failed to work. Brilliant product. Not suitable for dog

Seemed like a good idea for when me and my partner are not back for feeding time. Decided to test it out today under supervision and on the first occasion it worked. However, when we went out for dinner and came back the "door" to our cat's dinner was still closed meaning that he was left hungry until we came back to "release" dinner for him to eat. returning item tomorrow.

Was looking for an inexpensive pet feeder for my sphynx cat so that I could leave her overnight. I had some doubts seeing as she is a mastermind and can open any door in my house and help herself to dreamies out of the cupboard etc. However I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and it has worked perfectly everytime and (to my knowledge!) she has not broken into it. I am buying a second one today for my other cat.

This feeder worked excellently for our cat when we needed to leave her alone for a day or two (putting her into a kennel is far more stress for her than just leaving her comfortably at home), which was the original reason for buying it. She was never able to open it or toss it around, the battery lasts for a good 12 months, and it always reliably opened. It lasted a few years without any issue.Our 6-month old puppy, however, quickly figured out how to open the turn-dial mechanism and get to the food. That said, despite all her tossing and chewing, the thing never opened unless the dial got turned to the right spot, so it is fairly durable otherwise. Any pet parent will need to use discretion when buying this product, as it's best suited for calmer and patient pets ... Worked for around 2 months, he stopped waking me up at 7am for breakfast. After months of batting it around the kitchen, my cat has figured out how to unwind the timers with his mouth and just help himself and then lies to my husband so he gets more food. Would be good for non food driven cats for pre-setting meals.
Nice and compact, love that there is 2 feeders and giving times for up to 48 hrs.What i would like is to have a cover over the battery section. Would also be nice to know it is going to work properly before leaving it out. No real way of telling it is working unless you leave if for a few hours?? Not sure how else to determine otherwise. Have had times that the 1 section did not open when it should have. Otherwise not bad.
The product is ineffective. Don't waste your money. We bought this feeder to hopefully eliminate or delay our cats 4am wake up calls searching for food.1. Cheaply made and constructed of lightweight plastic.2. Once our cat detected food in the containers, he easily forced the lids open within seconds.3. The product is so lightweight our cat batted it around his feeding area like a toy4. For food focused pets this product will not work.
This feeder is such a game changer for full time workers and/or people with cats who want breakfast at 4am. Yes, my cat has managed to flip is upside down a couple times when we first got it, and move the dial to open it early or increase the opening time a few times in the early days, but overall I love it and now that my cat knows he can't opening and and just has to wait we don't have any issues.
Works well but my cat has figured out how to turn the dial and get food out sooner!Cons: can't remove individual trays, they are joined together. Can't lock the lids when not in use, have to use a rubber band to keep it closed when stored.
I bought this 2 days ago and experimented using it today whilst I was at home, in case it didn't open. I set it up ready to open at my cat's usual time. However, I went into another room for 10 minutes and when I came back I found my cat had been able to work the mechanism and open the tray. So essentially this is just an expensive cat puzzle, not an automated feeder.
