I was having serious issues keeping my brothers dog inside my yard while he is overseas as he was Climbing my fence- yes, Climbing! Due to his size and determination I was recommended the stubborn dog barrier fence. Delivery was quick, customer service and follow up advice by the team was the best I've ever received! I implemented the training and advice as instructed and within a solid weekend of training the dog now fully understands the flags and boundaries (even with my other dog still being allowed beyond the boundary zone). I wish I would have got this system earlier as it would have saved a lot of stress. Would definitely recommend this system. If you put in the training and follow the directions it's worth it's weight in gold.

It took three to four zaps to self teach the dogs, at settings of 3 maximum (so two higher levels in reserve). The two German Shepherds will not venture closer that 10 meters, even before the warning zone and even without the collars on. I wish I bought this sooner! Very easy to set up and worked immediately. We have peace of mind our big boy who would break out of the yard regularly, now no longer goes to close to the boundry. The warning sound beeps when close and he backs straight away from that boundry zone. Best buy. Also paid express shipping and it arrived the next day!

Fantastic product, prompt delivery. 2nd dog containment fence l've bought from Bark Control in over 10 years. From the moment install completed the dogs never escaped the yard again. One was a fencer climber/jumper & our current staffy/bull dog was a tunneller now we can leave him home without a worry.
To be honest we were at our wits end. The actual Dog Fence product is great. However I think the collars need more thought. They are made from are fairly flimsy material and are not very wide for the size of the casing they hold against the dogs skin. We have had to replace both collars purchased only 3 months ago with stronger shop bought collars that we have altered to put the casing on. Both Labradors have been wearing these newer collars for a couple of months now with no sign of the wear and tear of the original collars. Other than that issue though I would highly recommend the Dog Fence to anyone having trouble containing their dogs. Our husky could climb like a raccoon and a 10 foot high fence wouldn't keep him in. We were at wits end until buying the Petsafe Stubborn Dog Fence. We didn't muck around with the flags and training but just put the collar on. It only buzzed him twiceand he will not go near the fence, even when the collar is not on. We couldn't be more happy with how it worked and now have the peace of mind when we go somewhere that he is nice and safe within his yard. It was worth every cent! The only minor downside is it is a bit touchy in wet weather and it can take a bit of time to find where the connection problem might be. But at least it always lets out an audible alarm to warn you when it is not working. We are on 3.5 acres that borders bushland so there are plenty of temptations to escape if you have more than one dog loose at a time. This is a wonderful solution for your dog. However, this our the 5th purchase due to the fact that it has no lightening protector. Such an unfortunate oversight, but for that, I would have given it a 5.
hi bark controlthe system is working well since we installed it, she does not wander now, even if we left the gate open.however she has figured out if t=she has her standard collar on she knows it will not shock her.if would be good if the collar supplied in your kit has a tie ring uilt into the battery unit so we don't have to kep changing here collar everyday.the other concern was wire quality- after looking in a electrical supply shop there are sheathed and double insulated wires available for cheaper price than the rolles of yellow wire supplied.if you have a solution for the collar pls let us know and also do you have shorted probes available? our dog has short hair and both the probes supplied seem too long.regards Daniel whiteboddington
