We've had this PetSafe Cat Litter Mat for a few weeks now, and we're liking it. We had a different brand mat before, but we'd still get a bit of litter on the floor after our cat's litter box use. But this PetSafe Litter Mat is definitely picking up more of the litter off my cats paws as they come out of the box, and keeping us from having to sweep up the stuff every day. The difference was really noticeable actually. And now we just have to shake off the mat once a week and all is good. The construction/quality of the mat also seems quite good, and I'd expect it to last years. So good work PetSafe! I can definitely recommend to my fellow cat owners.

I love this mat. The dimensions are perfect, not too small and not too big. It contains the litter that ends outside the litterbox better than the smaller matt I had; my cats can no longer jump over it. And it's so beautiful!

I'm not going to lie, my cat Jasper is a slob. From getting food and water all over the kitchen floor, to flinging litter ALL around the little box. This mat almost eliminates the litter mess completely! This mat is big enough to catch litter from all sides of the box. In my house, I have no choice but to put my litter box in a room with carpet. I had to drag the sweeper out every single day to sweep up the scattered litter. With this mat, it's caught in the material and I can just dump it outside or back into the box. Here and there, a couple rogue litter granules escape, but it's a 98% improvement. I'd go as far to say if you own a cat, this would be a necessity. Excellent quality litter mat.

I have two almost 1 year old main coon cats. Anyone who knows the breed knows how big they get. Even at a year old they are already huge! Needless to say when they use the litter box it can sometimes get messy. I put this mat underneath their litter box, which is a good sized box. Theres plenty of area of the rug that is "open" for litter to go on instead of my carpets. So far, I love the mat. It's easy to vacuum up messes. I dont feel too much litter on my actual carpet surrounding the area anymore. I think it does its job pretty well and catching and keeping spilled litter confined. I would definitely recommend if you have animals who tend to get a little messy with their litter box.

I have three cats who use an inside litter box so I was super excited to try this PetSafe Cat Large Litter Mat! This mat is huge and just what I needed! I put this mat under my large litter box and there is still plenty of room to catch the litter that the cats drag out of the box. I just pick up the mat and shake the litter back into the pan, it is super simple! Prior to getting this mat, I was constantly sweeping up all of the litter off my floors that my cats always managed to get outside of their litter box. It was so exhausting! This mat works awesome at keeping the litter where it belongs! This mat is heavy duty but is also very easy to clean. I am so impressed with this mat that I am going to be purchasing two more of these mats for my other litter boxes!

So not only do I want to protect the carpet but also keep litter from being tracked everywhere. Which is what is happening before I got this mat. What a difference having this cat litter mat has made! Before having the mat we used nothing underneath the litter box and I was constantly cleaning up the litter the cat tracked out. It felt like we were walking on a sandy beach at times. It became so frustrating and I got tired of cleaning it up. We then tried just a regular bathroom mat and that didnt make much difference either. This mat traps the litter and doesnt allow the cat to track it past the litter box. We leave it by the cats door so she doesnt track litter in and out. Its easy to clean with either a vacuum or just pick up and dump in the garbage. Its made a big improvement for us and Im glad we finally found a solution.
