This really helps take the edge off Gertie’s anxiety. I know because I’ve let it run out a few times and within a week she is really on a hair trigger. With this supplement she still responds and barks at ‘danger’, like someone knocking at the door, but calms down quickly. The excessive barking for no apparent reason is gone. Our 3 year old beagle X chihuahua honey has extreme separation anxiety. We got her just before lockdown and she spent most of her days with her poppy. Not long after covid hit and we were locked down and she had three of us at home for so long. And since I've now introduced him to all his new supplements (1/4 scoop each per day - may start to gradually increase) I've noticed even more of a difference with his fur!Energy levels have increased, he seems like a happier pup. Theres less shedding around the house, his coat is super soft and even smoother. He still has random bald spots that have already started to grow back too. Basically any loud noise and she would climb all over me in an absolute panic, try hiding and was extremely restless; she was a nightmare to manage.I have tried quiet a few calming treats, tablets and even Valium from the vet. Only the Valium worked but it she was still conscious of the loud noises and a bit restless, I also didn't want to drug her. Valium also has to be administered before the event which can be difficult if you do not know when the event may take place.I give her the Stress and Anxiety powder every morning with her biscuits adding a bit of warm water to mix it in. Our Mastiff is nervous about almost everything and we were going on holidays for 10 days with a family member coming to look after him. We were sceptical as we've tried other supplements and scents before that didn't make a whole lot of difference. We have a highly anxious/overwhelmed rescue dog and even after professional classes and consistent training and exposure for 2.5 years she was still struggling. This was our last shot before discussing the possibility of medication with our vet.It definitely works for her. She will still get in a bit of panic around her triggers (aggressive dogs and cigarette smoke) but rather than a 20min calm down time it's dropped to max 5min.
