This is overall a solid harness and can be a good deal, especially when it's on sale. It's comfortable when I use it to climb, and wicks well if I've sweat through it. Only negative is that it is sometimes less comfortable sometimes when I'm belaying while in it (tends to ride up no matter how I've adjusted it).I used it as a replacement to my previous harness while shopping on a budget, and it did the job nicely. Since then, I've upgraded but keep this as a backup as it's sturdy and safe. For sizing, I got the smallest size I could find in the store which was a small, and when I was able to cinch everything up, it fit well (I typically run XS so this was suitable), but I did cinch it up to almost the limit.

I love this harness. As an employee at a climbing gym, I spend a significant amount of time belaying in this harness, and it is awesomely comfortable. It is also quite comfortable while climbing, hanging, standing, and walking. It has a nice, wide belt and the leg straps do not dig uncomfortably into my thighs. The padding is comfortable, yet breathable and thin so that it does not add bulk or weight. The harness is adjustable at the waist and both legs, which I find useful since I have a hard time finding harnesses that have enough space for my legs and can be tightened enough to fit my waist. Ultimately, this harness would suit many people well because it can be adjusted to fit a wide range of body proportions. It can be folded up to a relatively compact size for travel. For reference, I am about 5'8' and 125 pounds and I wear size XS in this harness. I have primarily used this harness for gym climbing and belaying. I ordered my harness online, but I tried it on in a store first. I recommend trying on and hang-testing harnesses before you buy them because they fit can vary from person to person.

I recently bought this for my wife to replace a very similar harness from Black Diamond. The color, look and style is great. The waist fit was perfect with lots of adjustments but my wife did find that the straps in the inner thighs were not comfortable. They seem to use these metal inserts so if your thighs are close to rubbing it makes for an uncomfortable fit (wife is a fit 5’7 - 120lbs). Overall, if the fit was better she would have kept them but she had to get a different model for a better fit.

Overall, I really like this harness. It is padded in the right spots and very comfortable and I really like the color. It is very easy to adjust and there is plenty of space in the leg openings. The thing I don't much like about it is that I have curvy hips and a bottom and the large was a little tight getting up my backside, but was fine with plenty of room once on my waist. I also wish this came with a stuff sack as it got a little tangled in my bag with my other stuff. I have only used this at the gym so far but am looking forward to taking it out this spring as there is plenty of space and lots of loops for all of my gear. Would buy this again and would recommend it to others as long as they're not too curvy.
Bought this to replace a smaller harness I had when I put on a few pounds. Totally stoked I no longer have to take the whole harness off when nature calls as it has buckles to release the leg straps. My old harness didn’t have the buckles and I always had to take the whole harness off any time I had to go to the bathroom. Easy to adjust the legs and waist belts. Comfortable with falls. I’m 5’4”, 138 pounds, and a bit fluffy in my mid section. Got the medium and it fits great. I do have a large for ice climbing to go over the extra clothes. I would definitely buy it again and would recommend.
This harness does the job- I havent died. It's lacking in gear loops and the size is one too small for me, despite being fitted by an REI employee:/ I would have traded it in, but it keeps me safe and knowing they have to dispose of any safety material (like in the trash) I just couldn't get myself to return. I say all of this, but I still have to wear it as tight as it goes around my torso, but REALLY wiggle to get it off me. It's mildly comfortable, but never seems to line up in the back and it's not the lightest.I have worn this in the gym and outside- leading, following, trad, and sport. I think it's great first harness, but feel the need to upgrade once I collect more gear and setting trad.
Great harness. Been wearing petzl womens harnesses for 10+ years. Love adjustable leg loops, and good amount of padding.Took this one climbing and also alpining recently. Although it's a bit heavier than a lightweight alpine harness, I love that it's comfy and means I only needed to bring one on a trip where I did lots of different climbing types.Gear loops are great. Nice it's a womens fitI enjoy the belay loop being longer for a womens fit so it sits nicely over my hips.So comfy. Very happy.
At 5’10” with a thicket mid section and th him we thighs I have a hard time finding a harness that actually fits. This is the only harness am that comes up to my waist (I have a high rise) as opposed to sitting low on my hips and hitting my stomach at a weird spot like almost any other harness. Also, I have to cinch down the adjustable leg loops all the way. Basically I buy this harness 100% for the fit.My one gripe is the durability. I climb in the Utah a desert a lot and this harness lasts me 1 season. The leg loops get worn which is to be expected but my. Ingest concern is the gear loops that break easily. I’ve heard this complaint from other climbers as well.Normally I’d get a Misty harness for the desert if they fit my body shape. I really wanted to love the updated Luna- I've been a FIRM follower of this model basically since I started climbing. While the updates are mostly positive- an additional gear loop in the back provides lots of extra space, the overlapping design provides better accessibility to the back loops, an additional elastic to hold the waist adjustment tail out of the way, some might even dig the new color way- there are a couple of changes that have prompted me to look elsewhere for my next harness purchase.First, a couple smaller things. One the newest model, Petzl separated the harnesses' butt straps into two separate elastics/buckles. Why?? It's kind of small but also pretty annoying if you do need to drop the leg loops for a bathroom break or any other reason. One the newest model, Petzl separated the harnesses' butt straps into two separate elastics/buckles. Why?? It's kind of small but also pretty annoying if you do need to drop the leg loops for a bathroom break or any other reason. I don't see any possible benefit to separating these into two.The overlapping nature of the gear loops also makes me wonder about the harnesses' versatility come winter. I think it's unfortunate that Petzl didn't keep the hard clip-in points for ice clippers but perhaps their new ice clippers will do the job just fine. That one I'll just have to wait and see on but makes me tend to think the Luna is becoming more a rock harness than the classic all-arounder.Lastly- and this is the sole reason I would never, ever buy this harness- the leg loops are heinously uncomfortable to stand or walk in. In this harness, I have the leg loops on the smallest setting. I think they might be more comfortable for folks who don't wear them on the smallest setting- you'll just have to try it on yourself to see. For me, however, the discomfort is bordering on intolerable. That being said, hanging in the harness or climbing in it feels fine. It's really just standing or walking. I'd highly recommend you try this one on before buying to make sure the leg loops suit you. As it is, I cannot wear this harness for any mission where I think I might be walking in my harness, e.g. up-and-over days.Overall, if your leg shape is suited to this style, a great rock harness that can easily make forays into ice or mountaineering. Very durable with a comfortable waist and ergonomic, thoughtful gear loops.
I've been using the same harness for the past few years or so, and I was so excited to try this one. I'm 5'3, 125 pounds, and wear a size 2 (generally) in most climbing pants and jean brands. The size small fit perfectly, and I still had a good amount of room to adjust both the waist loop and the thigh loops. Also, given that this harness is made for alpine and multipitch pursuits, it definitely lived up to the expectation. I tried it both indoors and outside on a multipitch climb, and it was really, really comfortable. Great harness!
