I have no fear of it sliding off or of the camera disconnecting. It can be a bit bulky, or feel like it's in the way at first, but it's easy to find a comfortable position for it while shooting. Plus the colors are attractive and look good with any camera, in my opinion. If you already have the PD strap, keep it. No reason to switch over. But if you're coming from any other strap, or buying your first one, this is an incredible option.

The strap itself feels fairly soft but uses an inner layer of Dyneema for strength, this makes it a lot stronger then a standard leather strap, doubt this will break anytime soon. The strap slide is made of a satin anodized aluminum. Each lanyard ball has a 3 layer string so as it wears it will eventually show yellow this means it will soon be time to change this part out before it gets to the load bearing core layer and fails. 2 quick release balls are included as well as a triangle ring used on some cams.So far I really like this wrist-strap and would definitely suggest giving this one a try if your in the market for something like this.

Pairs well with the PGYTECH neck strap
2 July 2023

I use both of these products as a combo. Swapping between either strap is a cinch, and I've almost got the one-handed operation mastered. I have no concerns over the strength of the cordage, and I comfortably hang a full-frame camera with a telephoto lens without any qualms. The materials seem very touch, and the captive ball design simply works. I don't have to fiddle with lining up a disc with a slot to connect; just drop in the ball and release the clip. If you plan to buy either of these designs, then go with both for maximum convenience.

Premium Quality Soft Leather-Like Wrist Strap
10 June 2023

I have PGYtech's excellent shoulder strap, this wrist strap is made with the same attention to quality. There is clever metal slide to make sure it's cinched well around the wrist. The listing calls the strap material "ultra high molecular weight polyethylene"... whatever, the strap feels soft and leather-like.Like the PGYtech shoulder strap, the wrist has a connector that uses the same PGYtech beads (not compatible with PD disk connectors) to attach to the camera with confidence. They are very easy to release for say, mounting the camera to a tripod or switching to the shoulder strap. The box is a trip, a little like Apple's boxes. Definitely a good gift box.

Soft suede material, but bulky and not easy to disconnect.
2 July 2023

This wrist strap is similar to another one I have, but this one has a softer material and a unique quick connect system. The quick connectors are referred to as "quick beads", which is a functional design, but requires a hard press on the connector to disconnect. Although secure, the quick beads don't always attach properly, unless adjusted. The quick beads are round in nature and can rotate on the connector end, which I think is pretty neat. There is a warning on the box that says the suede microfiber can stain light colored objects, which is something to be aware of. The strap itself is a bit on the stiff side, but the exterior suede material is pleasantly soft.Just like the other strap I have, this one is bulky where the quick connectors attach. When using my camera, I have to make sure the bulky connector is in between my thumb and index area, otherwise it can flop around and hit the camera.Overall, this is a durable feeling wrist strap with an interesting quick connector system, although it's not always easy to connect or disconnect. This strap is not the most original design since it borrows a lot of ideas from similar straps, but the suede material is very comfortable.

Sturdy, Comfortable and Secure Method to Carry Your Camera! Quick Removal When Needed!

I'm a big fan of this wrist strap! It's made of all-leather and is just the right length allowing me to control camera settings and press the shutter without restricting my hand movements or being so long is gets into the picture. The quality of construction appears excellent with beautifully finished seams and PGYTech's proprietary latch system. The system allows a camera to be quickly released and securely locked back onto the strap with the push of a button. Very Comfortable
12 July 2023

The PGYTECH wrist strap is very comfortable to wear, and the material is pliable and doesn't require the break-in period needed with some genuine leather straps. The quick release is easy to use and feels very secure when engaged. The plastic buckle which contains the QR mechanism is a bit bulky, so you'll have to turn it just right to get it out of your way; it's not enough of a bother to make it unusable, but I find that attaching it to the bottom strap slot on my camera cage makes it a non-issue.If you like the magnetic buckle attachment shown in the product videos, be advised that it may not work for you. If you don't care about the magnetic feature, a larger wrist won't be a problem. It's a nice strap overall, but it would be good to see a lower-profile buckle and more than one magnetic attachment point in the next iteration.

Well made, comfortable but can sometimes be restrictive
3 July 2023

This strap is definitely well made. Looks classy and the leather is soft. The quick release works great as well.I used this strap on one full day of shooting and noticed that sometimes the slider that adjusts the tightness will sometimes keep the strap almost too restricted where it can't spin around my wrist.I have a couple of other wrist straps that are designed with more of a loose fit but still secure.I'm still going to give it five stars because the build quality is excellent. Some people might actually like how tight this strap can get but I personally like my wrist straps to be somewhat loose to where they can spin around and follow the camera.
