The innovative design of the Eclipse P600S from Phanteks appeals mainly to PC enthusiasts who prefer chic looks with successful technology. From the Evolv X of the same company, the Eclipse P600S inherits the possibility to install a second MiniITX next to the EATX mainboard and thus turn the computer into a dual system, for example with a dedicated streaming system or a server. In addition to soundproofing, the P600S offers a tempered glass side door and shines with all sorts of features like a front that can be tilted forward for optimized airflow. As usual, this case from Phanteks is finished to an extremely high standard.The first thing that catches the eye is the exterior of the Eclipse P600S from Phanteks. The steel side panels are attached to hinges and can be flipped open from the side. Both are lined with sound insulation. The inner section of the front panel can be easily removed, as can part of the lid. Both elements are lined with soundproofing material as well. Behind this is a fine mesh made of synthetic fiber, which serves as an eyecatcher on the one hand, but also as additional sound insulation when the covers are left off to improve airflow. The mesh is magnetically attached to the front. There is also a dust filter behind it.
