Phase 10 - Card Game
Product Description From the makers of UNO comes a rummy-type card game with a challenging and exciting twist! The object of the game is to be the first player to complete 10 varied phases with two sets of three, one run of seven, or seven cards with the same color. The twist is that each Phase to be completed is specific for each hand dealt. Players who complete one Phase advance to the next, but those who don't must keep trying until they do. Each deck features “Wild” and Skip” cards, which add excitement and can help you get out of a sticky situation. A “Wild” card can be used in place of a number card, as well as be used as any color to complete any phase, while a “Skip” card causes your opponent to lose a turn! Be the first person to complete all ten phases to win the game. Includes 108 cards and instructions. Colors and decorations may vary.

We have several sets of this game. Partially due to is loving it so very much. We are a large family as is our extended family. We love playing in several groups. We take no prisoners, 😂🤣! I love having a family that has fun. This game is one of the ways that we have a good time. We love that it takes a bit of skill to play as well as being a little deceptive at times. The price is great too.

Amazing game! I love it! Also brings family and friends closer bonding time. Some will get mad that they lose! Game lasts a long time around two hours playing time for one game. Is easy to carry in purse and bag. Great to take for a time waster if waiting somewhere. Interesting game that keeps everyone on their toes! My Grandmom would've loved this game.

We love this game and play it every weekend with friends. We have been playing it for several years. However, the new cards are cheap and flimsy and cost more than the original ones. We could go for several months before with as much as played before having to replace, but now we have to replace every few weeks. The way prices have gone up, we pay almost double what the original ones were and get a cheaper version that doesn't last any amount of time. Signed, Disappointed Fan!!!

My husband and I were looking for a small game to take with us on our cruise vacation that wasnt just a deck of cards, and on the recommendation of a friend we picked this out. It was easy enough to slip the box in the beach bag and take it with us around the ship, and we made some new acquaintances with folks that would see us playing and would join us. Its easy enough to pick up the gameplay, and you can get really competitive as you go along. Its great for kids as well as adults, whether its two players or a group. I recommend slipping a piece of paper in the box (and having a pen nearby) to help keep score and track what phase youre on, or having your phone nearby and keeping track in the notes section. I recommend slipping a piece of paper in the box (and having a pen nearby) to help keep score and track what phase youre on, or having your phone nearby and keeping track in the notes section. Or, if you feel like being nerdy, a set of 10-sided dice for the phases. I should also note that you may get the urge to play again after finishing a game, especially if youre competitive like us and want a rematch. Theres been plenty of times, on the cruise and playing at home, where weve had two or three games in a row. Some phases go faster than others, which adds to the fun. I recommend this to everyone to add to their game collection!
I love Phase 10. I have played it for years buying replacement decks when the old ones wear out. This redesign is horrible. The card stock is thinner. Less wax coating to protect the cards. The colors don’t seem as vibrant, especially the yellow. It is difficult to distinguish the yellow one numbers in low light, like when playing by lantern light while camping. They also decided to underline both the nines and the sixes. This is VERY confusing . Pick one number to underline but not both.
I love playing Phase 10, that's why my old cards needed to be replaced. They held up through my parents playing with them then those cards were passed down to me...years and years and years of use. I hope the new set is as durable. I was expecting to get the old-style cards with the vivid colors and numbers in the upper left corner as pictured. What I did receive was the newer design that has yellow cards that are a bit hard on the eyes, the old-style has more of a butterscotch color and is easier on the eyes. I also noticed that these cards are just a smidge smaller than my old cards. Because I play so much, I thought I felt a difference, so I measured them against my cards as well as regular playing cards. In the picture the newer design Phase 10 cards are in ... Other than that, they'll work until I find an old-style set.
This is one of the five favorite games that my old card game buddies used to play together. There were 5-6 of us, and we'd play with two boxes of Phase 10 and permanently remove all of the Skip cards. The reason for the latter, is that, it's boring enough, just waiting for your turn let alone missing one or more. Games should bring people closer together, not cause a person to feel left out. If I was going to personally upgrade the game, I would do that, remove at least two wild cards per pack, make four more Phase 10 instruction cards for those with bad memories, make a sturdy carrying case with secure card holders for multiple decks, and make a card holder with a secure storage space, in the set, as well as, make the cards nicer and long lasting. The decks are easy to shuffle now, but they are made of shiny paper, that will eventually get worn corners. For a nice upgraded set, I wouldn't mind paying a little over two times more for what I paid for this deck. But I can't complain. It was nice getting a better deal than Walmart. If you want some recommendations for other fun games, try Sequence, Rummikub, Canastathe Hands & Feet version, Spoons, Texas Tick, Golf, and Polish Poker. With the exception of Rummikub, these are all games that need cards. We have a new set of game players now, and I'm about to introduce them to a new gamePhase 10.
Our family loves Phase 10!!! We play with friends almost every weekend so we go through some cards. The older version we could play with for several months, but the new cards, we are having to change cards after a few weeks. 8 understand times have changed, but the price hasn't gone down with the cheaper version, but quite the opposite!!!PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLDER VERSION!!!
