A really good product. It really tasty and even better with milk. I am now staying with PhD. Unlike other brands one scoop is enough per shaker for a good taste without needing to add extra, which means you get more shakers out of a packet. Foe a good strong flavour add one (25g) scoop to 175 ml of water/milk (I prefer it with skimmed milk, although it is still good with just water). Sometimes, I add 2 scoops to 350ml cold water when am work as a lunch replacement and it fills me up nicely. The flavours are great. Cherry Bakewell was lovely although I found chocolate mint a little two strong (the mint) for me but the wife loves it. Am looking forward to my next order. Flaxseed and Chia seed where also good additions to try something different. I am now on my four ... MoreA really good product. It really tasty and even better with milk. I am now staying with PhD. I have lost 18lbs so far and haven't been strict with my diet. This product feels you up as it should and I use it as a meal replacement (lunchtime, sometimes breakfast). PhD is much better than other brands we have tried and we will now be staying with PhD. I would recommend this product to friends and family

As I'd expect from MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP it arrived quickly and was well packed in an oversized box (As standard when buying on MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP) I was well updated with its ETA by email and text and it arrived bang on time. The product itself is well exactly what it says it is a lower fat protein powder. I know alot of people will think the whole point of bulking up is calories and whats the point? But if like me your workout is neither to bulk up or slim down and is simply designed to stay in good shape and make sure my body gets all the protein it needs, this is perfect. My first shake was suprisingly thicker than I expected (In a good way) and I'd definitly recommend following the guidline amount of water. I mixed up my first in a normal sports bottle as I'd ... Well reccomended

I had been looking for a new diet protein shake to replace my breakfast and midday meal with. I remember using PHD years ago (10+), with the draw back of it being expensive. I decided to try it again especially as a good price on MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP. I ordered the Raspberry and White Choc, as sounded different compared to standard flavours. The item arrived fine and powder in a resealable pouch. Only issue with pouch is clip strip at top does not always fully close. Making shake is easy. 2 scoops for me, 350ml water, good 20 sec shake of shaker and done. It does not come out lumpy, has a nice texture and is a good thickness, not watery like some. The raspberry and white choc tastes amazing, so have finished drinking it before know it. PHD Diet Whey is the way to go if ... I have tried many protein drinks before and took this as it was recommended by the site whose weights programme I am following. Personally I have always found protein drinks gritty and with a bit of a horrible taste, especially the aftertaste but this was surprisingly different, and in a good way! I have tried making it with lots of different things in it, water is the worse for me followed by soya milk (too thick and flavour not as good), then rice milk. I cannot have milk as it does bad, bad tthings to my digestive system which I will not scare you with here! The best things to mix this with for me personally were almond milk and coconut milk which made this into the yummiest drink ever. It was like having a treat, an amazing cherry bakewell milkshake. I use it is a pre work out drink and depending on how much time I have after my workouts (I workout at lunch) I often have it after as a post workout/meal replacement then. Definitely my favorite protein drink and I would highly recommend it to others.
I purchased Cherry Bakewell from MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP and Chocolate Peanut from another online retailer. The bags are generous for the price, they come with scoops though you may have to dig through some powder to find it. As I'm sure most of you will know, fluids first then powder. I have been doing that since I purchased it but accidentally put powder in first today and now a fair bit is wasted, stuck to the bottom of the cup. I blend it with my nutribullet but I have shaken them up manually and lumps had disappeared. Just like to use ice to make mine ice cold and the nutribullet crushes all! Cherry Bakewell is nice, but not exactly like it's name, I would add that it could be sickening for anyone who doesn't like too much sweetness. I should note that it leaves a ... Cherry Bakewell is nice, but not exactly like it's name, I would add that it could be sickening for anyone who doesn't like too much sweetness. I should note that it leaves a strange mildly unpleasant after taste when you use sweet almond milk. Chocolate peanut as someone else here had said, is more like Chocolate Wafer flavouring, but it's enjoyable none the less. I use 175ml Hazelnut milk and 140ml water with some ice cubes to make mine up with 2 scoops of powder. I have been taking them 2 times a day with a low fat dinner. In my first week so far I have lost 5lbs. I've done mild exercise as I've had pain issues. I find them filling and especially satisfying for sweet cravings. I struggle with boredom eating and have found this stuff along with green tea to really tide me over. I love that they're so low in sugar too, a main concern when looking for meal replacements. I've not had many protein powders but this has been the least weird synthetic tasting one for me, and I love that there's a lot to choose from. I'm definitely going to buy more, chocolate mint is in my sights. If only the idea of crisps flavoured protein powder didn't seem so awful, then I'd really be sorted.
I'm a recent convert to this brand of protein powder. I'm mainly a runner, 3-4 long runs per week, with a weekly strength session in the gym. I want to boost my protein, especially on workout days, to ensure my body can recover. I want to improve my muscular strength, endurance/efficiency, as opposed to bulking up and pumping iron. I recently tried some of Tribe's new protein shakes which are based on pea and rice protein. I'm not knocking their nutrition, however, they tasted awful and had a gritty texture, plus expensive on a per serving basis. This Phd whey powder has the best taste and texture for a protein shake I've ever tried. I have a single scoop serving post-workout for muscle recovery. There is a scoop within the packet. PhD Diet Whey marked my first transition from relying on MyProtein whey powders (which weren't the best) and i'm glad I made the change. I love Aero chocolate bars and tried the Chocolate Mint and it has to be the best flavour. I've tried the Chocolate Cookie from PhD Pharma Whey HT+ and the Diet Whey is far better. It may not contain menthol (which gives you the minty freshness from chewing gum) but it still gives you that tasty, minty flavour. It works amazingly with milk as do most powders and is palatable in water. The carbohydrate blend from waxy maize starch makes the shake thicker than the PhD Pharma Whey HT+ which lacks this blend which means that it isn't thin and watery when water is used. One downside of the Diet Whey is that it is very difficult to mix into other foods such as natural greek yogurt or oatmeal which I had enjoyed from MyProtein wheys. This is only a minor setback however.
This has a fairly low sugar and fat content although saturated fat isn't very low at around 4%. It comes with a scoop and the powder isn't lumpy. I've been mixing it with milk in a bullet blender and have had no problems getting it to mix with no lumps although they recommend mixing it with water. Mixed with milk you get a very creamy, fairly thick drink which tastes very nice. Sweet without being sickly sweet or having any nasty sweetener tastes and a nice chocolate flavour. I've not noticed any problems with bloating or digestion so far. The protein percent is lower than many whey drinks but it does contain other beneficial ingredients such as l-carnitine and green tea extract. This is a perfectly nice protein, particularly if you're cutting or just looking to slim down. It's definitely not the right choice if you're looking bulk up, and I wouldn't advise it as a meal replacement either. One of the best options on the market if you're looking for a low sugar/carbs option. Taste (Chocolate Peanut Butter): Pretty average. About on par with the Optimum Protein "Gold Standard" stuff. Nothing to write home about, but perfectly drinkable, even with water. Texture: Here's where it's get's tricky. The protein dissolves pretty well, but it is by far the stickiest stuff I've ever used! If you're like me and don't like to have to scrub your shaker with soap after every single shake, forget about that. No matter what you do, there'll be protein residue stuck to all parts of your shaker that simply won't come off with only a good rinse. Quality: As mentioned in the intro, this is just about as good a ratio of protein to carbs/sugar as you can find. Perfect protein for cutting/dieting. No caffeine overdoses or anything like that either, so no sweats or jitters that you get with some other "diet" products. Summary: Long story short, this is a nearly perfect product, with the exception of the extreme stickiness and average taste. I'll be going back to Syntha 6 after I finish this tub, because it has similarly good stats with better taste and less stickiness.
This stuff used to come in plastic tubs with screw-on tops. Those were brilliant. Good quality, tough, cavernous tubs that were easy to get the powder out of. Then some cretin decided to swap these out for some stupid, flimsy little bags. These bags are a NIGHTMARE. They do NOT re-seal. So as soon as you've opened it, you have to transfer the contents to another container if you don't want powder all over the place. I use one of the plastic tubs from earlier purchases, but even transferring the powder into one of those is difficult because the bags are just so poor. You lose powder everywhere. I even do it outside of the house because it just makes such a mess inside. A good product absolutely ruined by the world's stupidest packaging.
