Is as close a shave as a razor with the comfort of an electric shaver and I have yet to cut myself in the several years I've been using it. Hands down the best thing that's ever been released for shaving. Tip - If you shave your head like I do, get a second blade just for that as it wears down the blades significantly faster. I usually use the Philips multi groom electric shaver first then go over it with the one blade to preserve the one blade.

Not a real shot of espresso, sorry to say. The shots are more like a cup of strong coffee than a good shot of espresso. the crema” is telling, and the shots are watery. I tried a few different brands of beans, adjusted the grinder, cleaned the “brew group” which was also challenging…… I love that this machine was affordable compared to other machines in this category. I did get what I paid for. Steamer attachment also works well, only down side is you can’t steam your milk wile brewing your coffee. (I didn’t think of that before purchasing)In conclusion I was determined to find an alternative to Nesspresso. This was my choice after a little shopping online, the top machines available were twice the price, I also chose this machine because of the simplicity of ... MoreNot a real shot of espresso, sorry to say. I would NOT recommend this machine only because it’s such a personal choice for making a simple shot, compared to Nesspresso. The convenience of just adding beans and water to this machine is what I really like….. could this machine be better…? I’d say it could make a better shot of espresso. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend But I’d share my experience and suggest to spend the extra money and go for a much higher end machine, the shots of espresso would be better

We were told by promoter not to use local beans due to the oil in the beans. Only to be told by the Philips customer care to use light roast beans. Was told that I would have to clean often if using medium or dark roast. Felt cheated by the promoter. Shouldn’t have bought it without a demonstration. I switched to using grounded coffee for a stronger taste and some fresh coffee ground was in the waste. Also there was fault with the indicator. Very disappointed with the purchase! I would not recommend this product for anyone with longer than 1/2 long facial hair. It took almost 30 min to get 70% of the hair trimmed on my beard on the right side of my cheek. The blade openings are not remotely big enough to capture my beard hair. I ended up switching to my normal trimmer which I've had for nearly 10 years. I was done in 3/4 min. I like most of you, stood at the nice display and watched the videos presented of the product and thought, man this is nice, its small and waterproof. This would be awesome. I inspected the demo device and thought that maybe the openings in the blade would be too small to actually work on a beard. I ended up purchasing it anyway. Knowing that I prob could not return it (covid protocols and its a razor, you cant just openly return it) but thought I would give it a go, I was due for an upgrade. Id did nothing as advertised and im actually super disappointed. using it without an adapter and just the close blade for my neck pulled out hairs and caused bleeding. With the trim adapters its useless and wondered how a product like this even made it through testing. But more so it probably wasn't even tested because this blade would have been tossed out for what it is, useless. Funny enough the shaver that I wanted to replace is also a philips product. Which ive had for nearly 10 years and works fantastic. I wanted to stick with a brand that I trusted. However now seeing this as wasted cash I will be moving onto other manufactures that may do more quality control testing on their products. This thing just plain sucks philips. Sorry but you could and should have done much better.
I chose this model because it has a built in grinder. The grinder is adjustable and the container for beans has a rubber seal, to keep the aroma. The machine makes great espressos and all you have to worry about is to add water or clean it when indicated so. Espresso was made well enough. The foaming nozzle is designed to produce medium sized bubbles so micro-foaming may be difficult to achieve. The grinder is quite loud so making coffee in morning will surely be heard across the apartment. The steam pump takes 15-20 seconds to start up and start delivering steam but once it does, it's a steady and consistent stream of steam. All in all, if you are not in a rush, the machine will make great coffee for you, from the freshly ground coffee beans!
Since my last shaver/trimmer died recently, I was very excited to get my hands on the OneBlade. Immediately upon taking it out of the box I noticed how lightweight and comfortable it was in the hand, and how quiet it was compared to my previous trimmers and shavers. I accidentally let the blade rub up against my other hand, and expecting a cut I was surprised to find none at all. This made me very intrigued as to how it would perform on my face - if it didn't cut my hand, would it cut my beard? At this point I need to state that my beard hairs are incredibly (and annoyingly) thick. Combine that with my awkward neck and chin line and you have all the makings of a difficult shaving experience; I have had many issues in the past with razor/trimmer combos not doing a good enough job, missing hairs and cutting into my neck. Unfortunately, OneBlade will be added to that list.On using the stubble comb to do my face and neck, I immediately ran into problems. It missed lots of hair and the shavings got caught in the stubble comb, meaning I had to detach the comb to rinse it out after almost every stroke. Using it wet or dry didn't make a difference to this. My neck was the worst part, with my hair going in every different direction it failed to do anywhere near as good a job as it did on my face (and again, had to detach and rinse after every stroke).Frustrated, I decided to remove the comb and use the razor on my neck - and this is where I found the OneBlade came up trumps. The blade is phenomenal, making easy work of the hairs on my neck and leaving me with a neck as smooth as a baby's bottom. No hairs were missed, and hardly any cuts into my neck were made (I don't use a razor often, sticking mainly to trimming, so that's probably more on me than it is on the razor). If I was a clean-shave kinda guy, I would easily and happily recommend this as a 5-star product. But, being a stubble person, this unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations.Side note: I accidentally dropped the razor yesterday while packing it for travel, and the razor blade itself came away from the attachment. While I could see the notches on the blade and could see how it reattached, it wouldn't reattach to the attachment - so I'm left with the razor and in need of purchasing a replacement blade. I would recommend that the way these attach is changed to make it more robust, and easier to reconnect.
I have been using the oneblade for about 3 years now and I will be stopping. The shaving itself is fine, but the combs are poorly designed, break easily and replacements combs are just about as expensive as buying a whole new set of oneblade with all the combs. I have bought original replacements combs and knock offs and neither stay on the blade properly or break within a few uses. Then, when the comb comes off while shaving, it shaves the area you were just trying to trim, so you have to shave entirely to eliminate the shaving mark.
Philips gave me this product to review and I absolutely love it. I have been using electric razors for the better part of 10 years now and they all seem to either give too close a shave and cut me or don't do enough for all the power that they sound like they are supposed to be putting out. In the 2 weeks that I have had this I have used it 5 times. The first time I used it I trimmed my beard and shaved my face around it and it was the easiest electric razor I have ever used out of the box as no prep was involved at all. I have also never had a closer shave in my life from an electric and was skeptical myself when I was reading the packaging. I have also never had a closer shave in my life from an electric and was skeptical myself when I was reading the packaging. It leaves just the right amount of stubble that if you run your hand across any way but against the grain it feels like a clean flat shave and this has the additional benefit of not making your skin burn for a day and prevents ingrown hairs and razor bumps. It also works well on sensitive areas where the skin is thinner as minimal direct pressure is required for it to work causing no cuts. It works in the shower with no issues and is the easiest razor I have ever had to clean period, even with a standard razor. Since its only the one blade, there's nothing really to gunk it up and you can clean it just by blowing on it most of the time. If hairs do get stuck in it you just grab the edge and pull it and the hairs come right out or you can run it under water with the blade on and vibrate the hairs out.I have tried for over a week to find something negative to say about this as I want my review to be as honest as possible but I just can't find anything wrong with it!I cannot recommend this razor more. From the ease of the cuts I'm assuming that the blade will last quite a long time and won't need to be replaced anytime soon and even when it does it's not a huge difference from what traditional razor cartridges cost.
I have a special needs son who is 25 years old. I have spent uncountable amount on shavers for him, but, nothing concrete was achieved. He kept cutting himself, until I heard of the Philips Oneblade.Believe me, my worries are of past. My son loves his shaver and gas not cut himself since.I fully recommend this product to all.You will not be sorry.
When I retired I wanted to shave less often. I felt as though shaving should be somewhat optional when retired. A lifetime of the expectation to be a clean shaven professional in suit and tie when anyone saw me was something from which retirement was meant to free me. But what razor to use??? The many electric shavers I had tried irritated my skin and left me red for hours. So I gave the "One Blade" a try. WOW!! it was far beyond my expectations. Using it on a dry face after a day or several days or even a week or more and it left no irritation. It left the look of a clean shave. It went into every wrinkle line and neck crease with ease and left a clean shave. Replacement of shaving head was easy and less expensive than replacement blades on most high end razors.
