If you're not a fan of Monday mornings, you'll love this Philips bean-to-cup coffee machine. It's got 2 pre-programmed brewing options at the touch of a button, so don't worry if your brain is taking its time to wake up. And if you're in need of an extra-large caffeine fix, simply adjust the height of the spout to fit those tall mugs. Neat. Partner needs a pick-me-up too? No problem - it can make 2 drinks at once, so everyone will be ready for the day in no time. Plus, with the nifty milk frother, each latte and cappuccino will have a delicious creamy finish. It's even got a handy descaling programme that keeps the machine working properly.

Easy to set up, having done a few bits to start the machine off it was ready to brew within minutes. Only slightly fidly part was the LatteGo milk container, which is unusual for sure, but once that’s set up it’s a real marvel to watch work. Machine is a little loud, but not abnormally loud for what it is, however it may help you wake up wary in the morning. The coffee itself - fantastic. Lots of versatility offered, as you are able to alter coffee and milk amounts for each drink to cater to your tastes. Also love the profile settings, which is useful for my wife and I who take our drinks different. Each profile auto saves the settings for each drink. Maintenance is easy enough. My friends call me a coffee snob. I’ve been drinking coffee for as long as I can remember. I have to say that I am so impressed with this little gem. I went to visit my brother and he had a very expensive machine. I LOVED the coffee but wasn’t going to spend $2k for the machine. I started researching and this kept coming up. Reviews were good and so I waited until Prime day to buy. So glad I did. This is literally the best purchase I have made in a while. I will never spend $7 on a cup of coffee again. I’ve tried several modes but my go to for now is a cup of strong coffee, 2 espresso shots, frothed oat milk and some sugar free caramel topping. So good. So, if you are thinking about buying this…don’t think. Just do it.

We had an Saeco Intellia for over about 12 years, which we loved, before it started being less reliable, throwing errors, wasting ground coffee, and just weaker coffee overall. I didn't want to spend another $800 or so on another superautomatic and decided to get this after watching/reading several reviews. It's only my wife and I who use this in the house. She prefers her morning double strength americano while I like a morning shot of espresso so we don't need a lot of the extra features of a more expensive superautomatic. We've been using the Carina for a month now and I gotta say this machine is excellent for what it cost. The espressed coffee is way better than what the Intellia ever made.. stronger and more robust. The creme is about the same tho and still not nearly as much as I used to get with a manual espresso I had a long time ago (I think it was a cheap $80 delonghi but an excellent espresso maker nonetheless and WAY WAY WAY better than a Kureg or Nespresso which we've had before as well). The ground pucks are tighter too meaning there's more coffee grounds being packed in. What I also love about the Carina is that if you run out of water during the brew, it will wait until you refill the reservoir and let you continue the brew instead of dumping the grounds and forcing you to start over again like the Intellia did. Other things I like about the Carinia.. The waste ground collection is within the waste liquid reservoir and the grounds fill up a bit faster than the liquid.. which means it kinda forces us to dump both the grounds and the liquid whenever the grounds collection is filled up. This prevents the liquid from overfilling and spilling out which used to happen quite a lot with the Intellia that had the ground collection separate from the liquid. I am using the AquaClean filter for the moment to measure how effective it will be and the maintenance cost of replacing them every so often. We'll see if I want to keep using them or go back to the manual decalcification process. Anyways.. the Carina makes great coffee and is a bit easier to clean. Highly recommend it. Also, to anyone using a Kureg or Nespresso machines and looking to upgrade.. I strongly recommend getting a superautomatic.. they make a MUCH better cup of coffee and the Carina is probably the best one you'll find at this price range and not to mention you'll be saving money in the long run and create less waste for the landfill.

Today, I am so excited to share my thoughts on the Philips Series 2200 fully automatic espresso machine. I've been using this beauty for a while now, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer in my morning routine. First things first, the design is sleek and modern. It's the kind of coffee machine that not only makes delicious brews but also looks great in your kitchen. It's a total win in terms of aesthetics. What I love most about this machine is the convenience. With just a few taps on the intuitive touchscreen display, I can select my coffee preferences, like espresso, cappuccino, or even a simple Americano. The Series 2200 uses ceramic grinders to ensure a consistent grind size, which translates into a rich and aromatic coffee every time. The aroma extraction system is impressive, as it evenly moistens the coffee grounds for that delightful scent. Maintenance is a breeze too. The machine alerts you when it's time for a cleanup, and the removable parts make it super easy to keep everything spick and span. All in all, the Philips Series 2200 has made my coffee experience a delightful journey. If you're a coffee enthusiast like me, you'll appreciate the quality and ease of use this machine brings to your daily cup. It's a must-have for any coffee lover out there. Cheers to perfect mornings! ā˜•ļøāœØ"

I would NOT recommend this machine only because it’s such a personal choice for making a simple shot, compared to Nesspresso. The convenience of just adding beans and water to this machine is what I really like….. could this machine be better…? I’d say it could make a better shot of espresso. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend But I’d share my experience and suggest to spend the extra money and go for a much higher end machine, the shots of espresso would be better

Hot, great coffee with amazing frother

I debated between this machine and the lattego, and decided I didn't want to replace the lattego part and wanted simple and basic but with the omfph;) my bestie has the lattego and I honestly see no difference and I love creating coffee art so having the frother separate and for coca and tea use also is amazing. Things I love about this machine!1. Hot coffee2. Premade or beans3. Frother min or max time you want, up to you, I go around 35 sec.4. All in one area for pucks ( coffee) and extra water to be dumped at once.5. Looks classic and easy to operate.6. Black Friday + 15% off got for such a great price!7. When in doubt, try it out!! Love it and hope it lasts a very long time, I have had it since Nov:)

But it's not super complicated either. You just have to read the instruction book or watch some of the Philips videos.Overall, I'm very impressed and happy with this espresso/coffee maker.
