Philips 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine w/LatteGo, Black, EP3241/54

OMG! We LOVE 💕this machine. We can make all the fancy coffee drinks for a fraction of the cost. It’s so simple too. Just load the beans on top, add water, attach the frother if you want a milk topped coffee, add the water when the tank is low….usually after about 6-8 full sized drinks. I rinse the inside parts with “water” and let it air dry once a week and wash the frother after each use. Other than that there’s a small built in trash bin to empty once and a while and it tells you when it’s full. The machine grinds the beans for you and dumps the used ones in the trash bin. After approximately 1200 drinks or so they recommend using Philips descaler which I haven’t had to do yet. Oh I almost forgot! It has three settings to memorize your favorite drinks!!! Two regular settings for you and your partner and one guest setting. Cappuccino/Latte it's all the same.

One of the features that attracted me to the Philips 3200 Lattego was the capability to create Cappuccino and Latte drinks.That attraction has faded once i got the machine.The only difference between the two drinks as produced by the Lattego is the amount of milk used.The Latte should first pour an espresso followed by the milk, but that's not what actually happens.Both drinks start with the milk and then pour the espresso.The manual disagrees, but no matter how often I point this out to the machine it insists on pouring the milk first.The second issue I have is that initially the coffee made me sick.It was very bitter and my stomach could not handle it. I switched to different beans but couldn't detect any change. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

This machine is absolute junk. We've had it for two years and have had nothing but problems the entire time and Philips has been useless in correcting anything. The frother was the first to go - the entire LatteGo piece broke apart one day while steaming milk (only had the machine for a couple of months when it happened). I contacted Philips directly and they said it was a design flaw and sent a new frother. That piece worked for about 4 months, and the same thing happened again. I keep having to purchase the LatteGo piece at $60/each because of the same issue. The coffee hasn't been hot in months and we have adjusted everything we can and it's still lukewarm. And just within the last 2 weeks, the steam for the frother is coming out of the top of the machine instead ... MoreThis machine is absolute junk. Excited to have it, fast disappointment.

I am a 7 years De'Longhi Barista user. I'm from Spain and I need at least 2 GOOD cups of coffee before I start my day. Love the Barista but I was tired of the long process to have the perfect cup of coffee and I was looking to simplify my life. After a lot of research, I decided to give a try to the Phillips 3200 and teach my wife (who was the biggest complainer as the Barista was too complicated for her) to get comfortable before perhaps jumping to the 4300 or 5400.Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of usage, we started having troubles. She just LOVE THE SIMPLICITY of this espresso machine. If you love fresh craft coffee-this 3200 is a must

We are coffee connoisseurs at our home. We have run the gamut of all the machines starting out with our trusty Bunn, to all the variations of Keurig, to various espresso machine setups and this Phillips 3200 tops them all. First, to have FRESH ground coffee on demand without having to grind/tamp/brew is amazing at 530 am. Knowing you’re not drinking out of hot plastic moldy pods is a huge comfort. Espresso for me, coffee for my husband and lattes for our college kids all how you like it from one machine at the touch of a button has completely been a game changer and honestly a money saver because we can brew craft drinks from home NOT from expensive pods or waiting in the drive thru at overpriced coffee houses. No mess no waste.My only wish was the bean hopper up top was bigger so I didn’t have to refill the beans as often but honestly most people don’t drink coffee as much as we do.This is not a regrettable purchase, in fact after having it for months my husband and I still comment on how much we just love the taste and convenience of our new coffee setup with the Philips 3200

Love this machine

My only complaint about this LatteGo is that I'm drinking way too much coffee now! It is too easy to produce a cappuccino and I find my finger on the 'go' button way too often. Since I read that the machine takes about a month to sort itself out I didn't put in my best coffee beans to begin with, but it's still making a decent cup of cappuccino. I'll reserve my opinion about the quality of the coffee until I'm using decent beans but I can only imagine that it will be an improvement.This machine couldn't be any easier to use, you literally push a button. Cleaning the machine isn't bad either. I empty the drip tray every time I use it just because I'm fussy, and I don't wait until the puck drawer is full either before emptying. Still trying to get it off my granite countertops! However, lesson learnt and I'm super careful now.I wasn't impressed with the bypass for using ground coffee. The second time I used it, it got clogged and I had to take out the brew group to clean it out, which was messy. I'll skip using ground coffee in it as I also have a Delonghi Dedica that makes great coffee that way.I love the milk frother, it's a lovely bit of kit. So easy to use and clean.The first week or so of using the LatteGo, it was still finding its feet and I wasn't too impressed. However, reviewers were correct when they said to give it time and it would improve as you custom-tailored the settings to your liking. That certainly has been true. Now I look forward to getting up every day and making effortless coffee in this lovely machine. Only wish I hadn't waiting so long to buy it.

***The bottom drip tray is warped, so it bounces around once fully seated into the machine. Molding defect for sure. I need to get it replaced Philips???Otherwise still learning this machine, as it does need some adjustments for grind settings, strength and water volume. I am mostly using it for coffee, and the last two cups were pretty good. Just trying to figure my coffee size (two brews and which volumes) to get the flavor I like and the size cup I like. Temperature setting done while the machine was off made a difference too. Much hotter than the Nespresso Vertuo I had. Getting solid pucks too now, compared to the watery ones the first few tries. Will experiment with different beans and try some old favorites too. This coffee machine transformed our lives!

This coffee machine is absolutely incredible and it has completely transformed our lives! Not only do we feel like we're saving money by not going to Starbucks every day, but we also have the ability to make a wide variety of coffee options at home, including lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffee, and regular coffee. Personally, my favorite is making cappuccinos and I enjoy drinking multiple cups a day. The best part is how incredibly easy it is to use! I love that I can easily fill the milk for froth and then store it in the fridge when I'm finished. The attachment process is a breeze. Additionally, the coffee that this machine produces is top-notch because it uses fresh espresso beans that it grinds up. The flavor is absolutely delicious and bold! Two Years and Various Drinks Made.... Awesome Little Machine

We have had this machine for over two years now and it has performed flawlessly the whole time. Granted we don't clean it as much as the manual wants you to but still works a treat. The milk container has to be almost spotless for the milk to froth but still way better than doing that part manually. I like to hit a button and walk away while it makes my drink. During family get togethers everyone asks for double-shots and triples. They love the shots it produces. Family and friends love coming over to try out various flavors of drinks.This has, by far, been the best purchase. We started with drip coffee, then went to Keurig, then to this. Best yet! If ours ever breaks down, will purchase this again.... no questions asked. this is certainly a life-changing message seeing if you like specialized coffee's. I would 100% recommend buying one of these. I am a little worried about the longevity of this thing because it is fickle. There are a lot of moving components and often times the sensors are incorrect, especially on the water the water can have water in it and I have to add water or readjust the carafe into the base. For the light to go out in that coffee maker to continue service I don't know if that's a warranty issue or not but I am monitoring it very closely because I am within my first six months , other than that I have tried many beans and I kept the original adjustment on the coffee maker and it makes excellent everything that it offers. This is a good for an entry-level device, but after a couple of years with this thing, if anything ever happens or goes wrong I am definitely going to upgrade to Phillips highest in model of this because this device has been nothing but amazing to me , this was the only device that I could find in stores at a big box retail, so this was the best I could buy from Phillips. I do trust this brand because they have stood by their products on other products that I've had like the toothbrushes and the other things if you're looking in the market for an espresso machine and you're trying to decide between this brand and some other brands I did try the other brands out and I do like the Phillips product better. I would probably recommend getting an extended warranty just because I feel like something might or could go wrong with this when you see how many moving parts, and how many features it has coupled with the sensitivity of the lights , you might want to consider an extended warranty just in case something happens. Phillips will probably stay in beside their product no matter what and I'm sure that they will take care of me too if something happens.
