At my families request, I needed a simple voice recorder to create a log of stories from my history. This one works and is very vesatile.The issue is --- it is so complex (11 buttons) when using it, I was repeatedly pressing the wrong buttons. Setup has 11 steps. Online instructions are about 40 pages. I gave up and returned it.The major issue is that the walmart listing made it appear simple to operate but it isn't!
There is no user guide I English. Just symbols. Thoroughly disappointed. Will return!
I ordered this recorder online. I proceeded to check it out. Good background suppression, good voice reproduction, good volume, all things important to me. I shut it down and got back to the recorder next day. To my annoyance, nothing happened. I changed batteries. Still nothing! My device had suffered an infant mortality. Electronic devices fail in three ways. Infant mortality, violent death, and end of life wearing out. The first is quite rare. Manufacturers do burn-in testing to wed out the weakly components and devices. Some slip through. The rest, I believe, you all have seen. I reordered the same recorder.
My boyfriend uses this at work to record machining instructions when new parts are needed. And being a machinist his shop is very loud and this is able to only pick out the words and leave out a lot of the background grinding and loud Machines. He's very happy with it
Performed as advertised. Instructions that came with it were very vague. Still having to figure it out myself. Operating instructions need to be reviewed, very poor.
i like it. I use it to record lectures in my classes. it is very useful for me, very light and nice quality.you can organize your folders. i recommend it to every one who wants to use it to record their lecture :)
I was looking for something very simple, technology is not so simple anymore,at least not for me, I am from the days of cassette recorders. I was looking for a recorder for my bible study and was wanting to be able to stop and rewind occasionally, I myself found difficult to set it to rewind slowly, it kept going back to beginning. I could not set it so that it would start from where i left off or if I paused it, after a certain time on pause it would automatically shut off and then I would lose my place. I just found it too difficult for me I was looking for something very simple and with the ability to use the SD card . The sound was good. I did return it.
