Good quality, bright LEDs. TriColour option is nice to have, and it's useful to have an all-in-one LED + Driver + housing. Easy to install. Can't comment on longevity yet as they've only just gone in, but the other Philips LEDs I have have been very reliable.

Bought these to replace a setup with some ageing transformers that was becoming too fiddly. Had an electrician come in and replace the existing setup with plugs, so these could be fitted. Also replaced the dimmers at the same time with the Digi Dimmer, also from here. The resulting quality of light is great - clear, bright, no flickering or pulsing. Quite amazing how bright these are for 7.5W! Also the enclosure looks really nice with that simple flat rimThe electrician commented - "these prices are basically what I'm paying at wholesale!". I bought these lights over the ones recommended ones from my electrician. Saved 4.5W per bulb as a result and got a lumen that wasn't going to light up the whole neighbourhood. They are still very bright, but the warm light looks amazing in the house. We replaced our whole house light with these. Would highly recommend.

Purchased to replace other Philips LED dimmable MR16 lamps and fittings in 90mm ceiling holes. They worked well and didn't show signs of giving up, but we wanted to change to surface-mount, sealed, flat LEDs. Pleased to say that they slot perfectly into the existing ceiling cutouts and work flawlessly with my C-Bus leading edge dimmers.Great value replacement units. Hope they last as well as the other Philips LEDs have.Thanks Reduction Revolution.
I am using these downlights to replace 54 dichroics throughout the house – at only 8 Watts they should save heaps of energy vs the 50 Watt dichroics. They work well and have a good spread of light. Very versatile as I have used them outside (under the soffit) and in the bathrooms. It is great to be able to select your colour temperature on each fitting with the flick of the slide switch – I have used cool white in some rooms and warm white in others to great effect. Being dimmable as well makes a difference. IC4 rating means they don’t need a shroud, although I have made a hole in the insulation above the fitting. It was good to only need to buy 1 fitting that covers all the requirements.
Replaced downlights which were not sealed. Air movement into the ceiling. Now we have dimmable, sealed lights. Good quality, great price. Thanks.

The dispatch was quick. Lights look good with strong springs. But 3 of the 16 lights had some issue with the switch. I had to flick the switch a few times back and forth to bring them to day light mode.
I chose the Philips 7.5w to match adjacent 10.5 w Philips downlights which had been chosen as the best solution to upgrade 150mm cut out fluros.The Philips flush appearance is neat and the choice of colour signature useful. The 7.5 w light has more glare than the larger 10.5w. My sparky said that he has swung to flush over slightly recessed diffusers stating they are neater, cleaner and no more glare.As they are still new, I cannot comment on longevity.
put these into my house and our investment property. they look good with a very low profile, simple modern look. easy to install. Perfect choice if you want simple no-nonsense down-lights, without a bluetooth / smart phone connection and you don't need a choice of different colours (as in yellow, blue, purple, etc.). The Warm, cool, daylight options are very useable, just the right amount of warmth for most rooms on the Warm setting, and the right amount of cool or the bathroom. Daylight setting is very bright, might be useful in a electronic workshop, sewing room, where lots of bright light is required. Very versatile and elegant product, very well priced, highly recommended.
