I received these products Free from #Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This water station is great for the most part. You do need to have it full for it to work. You fill the tank in the back which takes about 20L of water and it then filters and fills the jug (it comes with two one to always have as it uses that filtered water to give back out and one for the fridge) Now when it refills the jug, that can take some time which can be the downfall v when you fill a jug and boil it but once it is full, the hot water comes out right away which then makes it faster than boiling the kettle jug. I like the touch screen and how it lights up it looks super fancy and makes cool beeing sounds (little things like that get me!) But. It is VERY big and only JUST fits ... MoreI received these products Free from #Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This water station is great for the most part. I like the touch screen and how it lights up it looks super fancy and makes cool beeing sounds (little things like that get me!) But. It is VERY big and only JUST fits on my counter space in my walk in pantry where I keep my coffee station. It may not be ideal for travel or anything like that as it takes a bit of space and is heavy but at home it is perfect. I usually buy bottled water so this will stop that - also, it seems my cats notice the difference in the water they love it!. Tap water isnt very nice and this DOES taste clean and fresh it even looks cleaner! One thing though, in the first few times of making hot cups of tea you can taste like a plastic like taste in the water which i dare say is from it all being new so it may be an idea to "flush" it out a few times before drinking from it if that bothers you. It has custom sizes and temps you can also see how low the water level is it shows you what is in and out. It also gives off less steam than a kettle which I love because that was annoying with the Kettle. Even the boiled hot water tastes cleaner but I DO wish it gave Ice cold water unless I have not worked that out yet. It is a little annoying having to fill jugs and put them in the fridge to get cold I would love it to have been ice cold from this machine. At some point, the filter may need to be replaced and that is where costs may come in as well. I dont think this would have been something I would have purchased myself however but I will make use of it. It can be a.tad annoying having to show everyone how to use it when they visit before they just flicked a switch on the kettle!

Enjoyed trialling thus product. The packaging was nice. The product is quite large and takes up a lot of bench space so wouldn't recommend for tiny kitchens. Once I read the instructions the process was pretty easy and now I get most of the functions easily. The water tasted nice after a couple of flushes. Can do room temp, hot water and different size cups or the jugs. Would be even better if could cool the water.

The Phillips Aquaporin Reverse Osmosis technology has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. It’s sleek, modern design and sizing means it has the size to have great functionality and multiple features, but not so large that it’s a clunky, oversized appliance that takes up all the bench space in our kitchen. Living in a townhouse with minimal bench space, we were slightly concerned that it would be a little overbearing but this was not the case at all. There are a number of great features that I have loved using this product. Primarily the ease at which you can change temperature and the amount of water you want to pour meaning I could quickly go from pouring a drink for a baby bottle at 45 degrees, to then immediately make a tea at 100 degrees literally in the ... MoreThe Phillips Aquaporin Reverse Osmosis technology has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. Having two jugs is also a really great feature meaning we can have one in the fridge nice and cool, and the other sat at an ambient room temperature which works perfectly for us, as I like a chilled drink and my partner likes his room temperature. Now there’s no arguments about where the water jug goes as we can have one in each!

It is a very sleek-looking machine; it's matte black. The user manual is very easy to read and understand. The installation process is very straightforward, and no plumbing is required. It has a HUGE 6L raw water tank and 2x1.8L filtered water jugs. The aquaporin technology has won the Noble award in chemistry (2003) and due to its highly selective and long-lasting features, this technology was also developed with NASA for in-space drinking water applications. The aquaporin technology has won the Noble award in chemistry (2003) and due to its highly selective and long-lasting features, this technology was also developed with NASA for in-space drinking water applications. The filtration process automatically detects the raw water container, but make sure your lid is closed properly (otherwise, it will not start the filtration process). It filters out all the contaminants via the reverse osmosis process. So make sure when the machines ask you to replace the raw water, you throw out whatever water is left in the raw water tank (this is where the contaminants are) and replace it with a fresh batch of raw water. The display is very sleek and feels very luxe to the touch. It has 3 temperature presets (ambient, 45, and 100 degrees Celsius). But from 45 degrees to 100 degrees, you can press the + or - keys to adjust the temperature. It also has 3 volume presets, 150mL, 200mL and 300mL. If there's more than 150mL in the filtered water jug, by pressing the + or - keys, you can adjust the volume by increments of 50mLs. If the water jug has less than 150mL, your adjustments will go up and down by only 30mLs. The main display and the keys will be visible in the dark and there is a blue light that comes on and shines into the cup, which I found are features that are especially useful at night. I have also noticed that compared to the previous instant water heating dispensers, there's no lag time when the hot water comes out. Overall, I have put this water station on my countertop (and I don't put anything on my countertop); one of the main reasons for this is that this water station is VERY good-looking! It is also user-friendly, and having super tasty filtered water instantly, which can also provide instant hot water, is amazing! I love this machine, and I recommend it to people who love drinking filtered water and would like the convenience of having instant hot water. Note, eventually the aquaporin filter will need to be replaced which can add to the cost, however I definitely see it as an investment, since I get a lot of use out of my machine, multiple times per day and night.

Amazing tasting water

Actually amazing product. If you are looking for a tabletop no plumbing solution or just a fantastic RO water filter system this product is for you. Water taste great and filtration is fast. Would recommend this as you dont require any plumbing. The only set back i feel is the hot water component which requires flushing every time before use as it comes with a strange smell. Might go away over time as im noticing it less and less with each use. Solid product otherwise.Phillips please include the filters filtering contaminant list that would be helpful - thanks

Reverse osmosis is good but...
23 March 2023

I bought this to replace both my aging kettle and ceramic water filter jug. I liked the reverse osmosis aspect as well as being able to instantly boil a hot cuppa. I was shocked when I found out the price of a replacement filter and dissapointed with the metal/plastic taste of the boiled water. I've been using it for a few weeks now, so there shouldn't be any unnatural tastes to the water in my opinion. The filtered water in the jug is fine so it must be the instant boil part that is causing the bad taste. Sadly I regret spending so much on this product and am tempted to return to my old set up.

I love the fact it is reverse osmosis filtering, but the dispenser for hot/ambient water still has a plastic taste after two weeks. I'm not sure whether the plastic tanks are BPA free or not. Very expensive and feels flimsy. Very expensive filter cartridges too. Time will tell if it goes the distance.
