However, when my daughter is in her high chair and throws it on the ground, a few drops will come out- but it`s hard to find any sippy cup that will not do that. The handles are convenient- but for some cup holders, they may get in the way. Sippy cup fits in to most cup holders, but not all. Ideally I would have liked it just a touch skinnier so it would fit in all cup holders. The spout is off to one side, but LO has no problem drinking from the wrong side and still gets milk/water.

It helps him grab onto the sippy cup without having it slip from his fingers. Besides it being super easy to clean, my other favorite feature is that it has a lid. The lid doesn`t seem like it securely clips in place but it does stay put and I love that it keeps the spout clean when it`s sitting around or being transported. Overall, I would highly recommend these sippy cups for a toddler that is transitioning from a bottle. It is easy to clean, simple to assemble, and provides a relatively leak proof seal.

Excellent cup for babies transitioning from the bottle

We had hard wood and stone flooring and the cups have yet to crack, so they are very well made. Overall my impression of the cups were pretty good, but my review would have been a little better had the cups been a little more age appropriate. They are for up to 18 months, however I think most babies may outgrow it by 12 months.

I received this Penguin sippy cup in the mail as a free sample for me to try and then review it online. I am glad I received it because I haven`t seen this in stores and wouldn`t have known about this great product! I absolutely LOVE this sippy cup! My favorite features are that it is easy to assemble and there are few bottle parts involved in the assembly process. This makes it so much easier to clean and put together right away. Saves me time from having to deal with all kinds of removable parts that most sippy cups have me deal with. Plus, I love the really cute penguin design! Another great feature is that my toddler can`t damage the spout as easily as some of her cups that have a soft spout or soft straw. Another great feature is that my toddler can`t damage the spout as easily as some of her cups that have a soft spout or soft straw. I see this sippy cup lasting for many years and getting much use out of it from my oldest daughter, 2, and my youngest daughter who just turned 1. The cup is easy for both of my daughters to hold and both of them can drink out of it with no problems. I experienced no leakage from it and to have a cup that can do this with as few assembly parts as this is AMAZING!! I also love that it has the measurement markers on the side so that I can just mix formula in this if I`m letting my youngest daughter use it for a bit. It`s great to have a sippy cup that both of my girls can drink out of, despite their age difference. Only thing that I can think of that could use improvement, is if the handles could somehow fold and lock down when I need to fit it into their cup holder on their car seat. Other than that, its perfect and the handles are NOT a deal breaker! I will be purchasing more of these in the future! The quality is outstanding, exceeded my expectations, and I will be recommending it to all my friends and family.

Mixed feelings, cute cup.

I received this product in exchange for my review. I was really excited that the packaging says leak proof. We've been on the hunt for a leak proof sippy cup that our daughter will actually use. The penguin design is really cute, our daughter happens to be a big fan of penguins so its as a big plus. These come in a 2-pack so we immediately popped one out of the package, gave it a good wash and put a drink in it to bring with us on the way out of the house. We were sad to discover the bottom of the diaper bag was soaked from leaking around the seal...not from the spout. The spout had ZERO leakage issue. I thought maybe we didn't tighten it enough in our excitement so we gave it another try but still got some leaking from the seal. We didn't give up. We tried the second cup and we didn't have the same leak issue as the first, however our daughter isn't a huge fan of the hard plastic spout. She prefers a flexible rubber spout. That being said 1 out of 2 worked perfect as advertised, I would say if your kiddo doesn't mind the hard plastic tip then this cup might be for you. Just didn't work out for us quite as well as we hoped.

I received the Avent Penguin sippy cup in the mail free for writing a review on this product, which is right up my alley. Anyway, I am a mother who has tried just about every sippy cup that is out there. Which I had not tried this sippy cup before was given the opportunity to write a review on it. First of all, I really dislike it when you purchase a cup for umpteen dollars to only have it leak milk, juice, ect. all over the place. I found that this sippy cup (if you have the plastic insert in and placed properly) does NOT leak anything. Was very pleased with the results and thought from a mother's opinion that it was a cute looking sippy cup. Had handles on which my child loved and helped him to use it better. The only downfall that I noticed with this sippy cup was that when it was filled full, it appeared to be a bit on the heavy side (and my son is on the hefty side)! Also like that it came with a top so that was easy to store in a bag without spillage.Another absolute perk to this cup was that it had a hard spout so child could not bite or chew threw it. Have purchased other sippy cups where both my children chewed the spout and the contents really came flowing out, which then got thrown away.

I received this product free to review. It's easy to clean, either in the dishwasher or by hand. The cups seemed to hold up very well after dishwashing. The cup can withstand being thrown on the floor, which is a big plus for sippy cups. If they don't, they're pretty much useless for a kid young than two, and even then, stuff happens. We didn't have any spills with these. And it passed the "cart to floor" supermarket test as well. The other annoying thing about some sippy cups is they tend to drip when the toddler is lugging it around. Again, this product is superb. No drips.A note on cleaning: There's a silicone gasket inside the lid, which I removed before placing in the dishwasher. It goes easy in and easy out. I like the locking sippy cups.

I have to say, this penguin sippy cup is absolutely adorable. It's gender neutral, making it easy to pick one up for your cute little boy or girl. The handles (aka penguin fins!) make is easy for little fingers to pick up and hold on easily to this cup and it holds a good amount, up to 9 ounces, so if you are transitioning from bottle to cup, you can still get a good amount in here. The cup is easy to clean and is also safe to put into a microwaveable bottle sterilizer. I have found that my 10 month old has somewhat of a hard time figuring out how to get the liquid out of the cup, she tries to suck it up like a straw as opposed to tilting it back, but we are working on it. :)As a disclaimer, I did receive this product free of charge in exchange for testing it ... MoreI have to say, this penguin sippy cup is absolutely adorable. These sippy cups are really cute, for one. The penguin with the little balloons is adorable and my little guy likes to point to them. The sippy consists of 4 parts total, as you can see in the picture provided. The four parts consist of the cup itself, the top, the valve, and the cap for the lid. I like that these sippy cups include a plastic cover for the top; it makes it worry free when traveling. The recommended age is 12 months, but my nearly 10 month old can drink out of them with no issues. In fact, these are the first set of sippy cups that he actually has been able to function himself. They do not leak, and since there aren’t many pieces, it’s easy to keep up with and clean. My son has even thrown the sippy from the high chair onto on hardwood floor and the cups have outlasted that test several times, so good on the spill test there as well as toughness. I would recommend these cups as they are a good investment and I believe will last a while compared to other cups, but also they are a good price.

HelloI received this product as part of the spark reviewer program. This is a 2 pack of Avent training cups; its main feature is that they are spill free!Ok, let's see the design first:The pack includes 2 cups, one with black lid and the other one blue lid, and they have a penguin print on it, so as the product name states it, these cups are intended more likely for a boy. Its capacity is 9oz, and that would be perfect for, in my case, my 1 1/2 yo toddler-baby boy. The capacity matches more or less with the amount of formula that he drinks, but we have not moved yet to that stage, my child is using it to drink water; but i don't see any issues i you intend to fill it with baby powder based formula. Now, the best and principal feature of it is that it is stated ... MoreHelloI received this product as part of the spark reviewer program. It is excellent. You won't be disappointed with Avent's products. The plastic seems very durable and it doesn't seem that it will catch scratches with a few washes.Overall a very nice product for your baby.Best regards
