This is perfect aqua clean water filter for Philips or Saeco coffee machines! Very long lasting (depends on your water quality/hardness). We have very hard water and this product is great! Highly recommended!

This is a great addition for anyone with a Philips coffee machine. It's easy to install and prevents the need for descaling for up to 5,000 cups. That alone is reason to use them with the hassle and chemicals required to descale an automatic espresso machine. It also filters the water to ensure you're eliminating any impurities, which leads to a better brew. The only downside is the cost, with a 2-pack running roughly $30.

I purchased 3 of these so that I could take advantage of the free shipping offer. The water at our location is extremely hard so I go through these faster than most people would so price is very important to me. These were on sale at a lower price than I've seen in a long time so I am very pleased about that. I live in southern Ontario so I recieved the item the next day, also excellent. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

I found the instructions hard to follow at first but once I started to use the machine it got easier. My biggest complaint is the coffee is not hot enough. I have adjusted the temperature to high.I checked on U Tube and it recommended not to use the pre ground function as moisture gets in that area and can go mouldy. What are your thoughts on this?
I received one pack of 1 filter. The picture suggest it's 1 pack of 2 filters. Judging from the others comments, some people recieved the "2x" pack. Still, the page clearly says "1 piece". So I'm not surprised I recieved, well, 1 pack of 1 piece. It's worth noting that they're the exact same as the (Philips-owned) Saeco machine's AquaClean filters. Galaxus also offer the Saeco's "one filter pack". In theory, this "2x pack" would be cheaper by piece. If you do recieve 2. If you recieve 1 like me, it will be more expensive. Next time, I won't play the lottery and just order the Saeco's one for my 2200.
Philips Philter Philters very well. It's easy to install and lasts a long time.We have had excellent experience with the Phillips coffee machine that uses the Philter. We bought the machine at Seattle Coffee Gear. We also purchase our Lavazza coffee through them. The online transactions go very smoothly.
Seems to be working well with my machine. Great that Anthony’s included these for free with my purchase as part of a promo. Will definitely purchase from Anthony’s when I need more.
We were very disappointed with our new Saeco Machine needing to have the filter replaced after an error code occurred after one month. The error code was E05 which usually means there's an air bubble in the filter to be sorted. We attempted several times to do as instructed and fix the error code. It didn't work after a dozen times so we replaced the original filter that came with our new machine. 30days of usage with 2-3 coffees per day.New filter boasts 5000 cups or 3mths.The error code has since occurred and we shut off the machine for 20mins and then its gone for a while. The support fr Home coffee was to call Saeco/Phillips however after a couple phone calls - we've still not heard back from them.Very disappointing customer/warranty support with our recent ... MoreWe were very disappointed with our new Saeco Machine needing to have the filter replaced after an error code occurred after one month. Fabulous filter for my Philips Espresso machine. I only use this filter. It lasts approximately 4 months if you use your machine daily. So easy to install and so well-worth the investment. The price at Crate and Barrel is competitive and their customer service always hits the mark.
