After 4 years of daily use, one tiny wire broke that powers the heated tube for my Phillips Respironics Dreamstation CPAP machine. I could not sleep without my heated tubing because the cold air is irritating to my airways and the rain out wakes me up. Fortunately, the humidifier section could be replaced without replacing my entire CPAP machine. Now I am sleeping well with warm moist air and NO rain out!

The water level lines are white and hard to see and should be darker. Sharpie took care of that. We're up and running and breathing thru the nite. Thanks, CPAP.com

I have used other Respironics products, but the Dream Station Pro is by far the quietest model. I would however recommend using the larger hose option, as it will give you better airflow than the 15 cm option that comes standard with the Dream Station Pro. I love the humidifier feature. Keeps my mouth and nose nicely moist without being wet. Excellent price through cpap.com. This is the best c-pap I have used. I highly recommend this product!

There are no gaps that allow any leakage of air, the design allows for a very tight seal, and the fact that you can remove the whole tray for the water inside and run it through the dishwasher once a week is AWESOME! They also made it easier to replace seal parts, if and when they wear out with time, instead of having to buy a whole new unit.I am so glad that I stayed with the brand I had before. My previous one lasted so long that I doubt I will have to replace this one anytime soon; if anything, the quality only got better. And if I ever need to work on this machine, I can use some replacement parts that one could not receive for the older models.Hands down, this is a good, long-term, investment that will allow you to maintain your machine overtime without have to constantly buy a whole new system. I like this as I am the guy who buys smart phones that allow easy access to replace the battery as I don't like buying a new phone each year only due to only battery going out.
This machine is quieter than my prior Resmed and has worked quite well. However, the "snooze bar" on top is not always responsive to shut off the machine. The rear tubing exit is less convenient than the side exit on the Resmed. Unfortunately, my machine was caught up in the recall from Phillips. Now, 1 year later, I am still no closer to getting a new machine than I was when the recall campaign was first announced. Fortunately, I've never used any of the UV sanitizers, which seem to accelerate the failures experienced by this model.
When I received the Philips Respironics DreamStation Heated Humidifier the inner seals were missing. I contacted the CPAP Shop and they got me a replacement humidifier out that day for delivery the next day. No hassle, very responsive, excellent group to work with. The humidifier is an excellent piece of equipment and a must have if you have issues with dry mouth with the DreamStation CPAP machine. Well made like all of Respironics equipment.
