This coffee machine is definitely top tier. After watching YouTube video it was really easy to set up for the first time and learn exactly how to use this machine. It has settings to tell you when you need to add more water, clean it and add beans to. You insert the beans under the black lid at the top of the machine, the right hand side pulls out to put water in, and you can pull out the silver tray to give it a clean. It looks gorgeous on the kitchen counter too. It is quite loud when you use it but I wouldnāt say that is a complaint. It makes espresso, cappuccino, normal coffee and boiling water. It also has an add on for frothing milk. My husband and I love this espresso machine! To be honest we mostly use it for regular coffee. Being that this is an espresso machine at heart, of course, it wants to make smaller cups of coffee so we will set it to run like itās making two cups of coffee for our one. It can use both ground coffee and beans and the smell when brewing is amazing. The milk frother is genius and so easy to clean and really adds something to the quality of the coffee. When it first arrived I was surprised at the size of the box it arrived in given the size of the actual product but it was extremely well packaged and easy to unpack. It is quite a heavy machine but once in place on the kitchen worktop it wonāt be moved much. The design of it is sleek and easy to use. I've used it for a couple of weeks now and it's very easy and straight-forward to use. You can adjust the coffee level, water level and use different choices on milk in the milk frother which you can detached and clean easily. The machine has cleaning cycles and everytime I turn it on, it does a mini clean and spit out water first before making a coffee. I allowed me to use my favorite ground coffee that you buy at the grocery store. You just spoon it in to the hopper located at the top of the machine. You will have to play with the settings until you find the strength you desire. There are three settings for strength. Like I said I love it strong. So max is my setting.. it was very good . Now there are settings for cup amounts. I noticed that the amount of coffee it makes even at highest settings will only fill a āmugā halfway. I just made two rounds to fill my mug.Espresso. Instead of using already ground beans like your coffee, the espresso requires whole bean coffee. You just dump the beans into the hopper at the top and let the machine do the work. It will automatically grind the beans to the appropriate settings. You like it stronger, set the settings to the strong settings and let it go. The amount of espresso you get is adjustable but will be less than your coffee settings. It makes really good espresso. Hint, the fresher the roast the better your espresso will be. So buy it fresh.Cappuccino. This is where this machine really shines. It uses whole bean coffee same as for the espresso option. It has a milk hopper that steams your milk for your cappuccino. You pour the milk in the hopper hit the cappuccino option and let the machine do the work. And a pro tip, you can sweeten the milk add cinnamon to the milk and it will steam all together. It makes a great tasting cappuccino. Or use your favorite coffee mate, French vanilla , hazelnut for your milk. It will froth it the same for a flavorful cup of cappuccino. To fill a mug you will have to make two to three rounds. But itās worth it.. of course if you drink a full mug. You wonāt have any trouble staying awake most of the day.. lol.I really like the coffee this machine makes. The instructions are a bit confusing. I did find a video on YouTube on how to set it up after everything was set. You could always go that route. The two things that I wish was better are the amounts it makes. I wish it would fill a mug without making two to three rounds to fill it. And secondly, the noise. Itās pretty noisy. My lab is still traumatized by it. lol he runs every time itās used.

Except, it didnāt.Iāve been on the website, read, searched, read more, watched YouTube videos, joined a Reddit group, and still Iām confused. Plus, I swear she has a mind of her own ā sheās a sassy and contrary minx.Iāve been through one-and-a-half bags of ground coffee and had about five successful cups.I think Iāve figured it out and then next time I fancy a coffee it doesnāt seem to want to give me one.Iāve had conversations with it, Iāve pleaded with it, Iāve loudly grunted in frustration, Iāve threatened to throw it out the window, to set it on fire ā Iāve been through most emotions with this bad boy.When it has made coffee, itās nice and itās fast ā when it does do what it should, it does it well; itās delicious.When friends ask for a coffee, I say, āWho knows? We can but try.ā Will it be coffee, or just hot water? Will it happen at first press, or second? Or will it just make encouraging noises for a while, flashing its wonderful lights like a disco, lulling me into a false sense of security, then tell me it needs its nappy changing (aka its coffee grounds catcher emptying)? Which, letās be honest, it wouldnāt need if it made the coffee when Iād like it to, rather than just getting rid of it in its bin so I have to put more in. Maybe it doesnāt like the coffee Iām using and is doing what it can to encourage me to try a different one. I feel like Iāve tried everything to figure it out, but the tricksy little monkey would be consistent on one day and mock me the next.It really does keep you on your toes, each time demanding I answer her riddles three. Iāve found myself trying to remember what I did that time she gave me a coffee ā did I use the right finger to press the button? Is my hair the same? Did I sing to her last time? Which dance did I do? I havenāt even attempted the latte function, Iām not sure I could take the uncertainty as well as what could possibly happen with the milk.Is she trying to teach me about not being complacent? About trust? Engineering?! I donāt know, nor am I sure I ever will. Itās been emotional. It does look ace in my kitchen though, so, you know. Swings and roundabouts šš¤·š¼āāļø
