Philips GoZero 590ml Smart UV Water Bottle (Blue)

This water bottle is bigger than a standard stainless steel bottle and it doesn’t fit in regular drink holders. Luckily it fits the drink holders at the gym. Also some people may not like the feel of the bottle, personally I’m not too fond of it. I was surprised that after the first use the bottle already ended up with marks and a scratch on it, so keep that in mind when choosing a colour. The top of the lid is made from a rubber material and it attracts dust. I do like how there is a handle to make it easier to carry. As for the UV light, it sounds good and I like the idea of my water being purified. Overall I think it's pricey. *gifted by Influenster

Please ignore the “It’s not great” review.UV sterilisation does not affect the taste of water. You can all research this fact.If you want water to have better taste, use a good quality activated carbon filter. no small carbon filter in a bottle will be able to affect taste drastically.Anyway, due to a condition, my tummy has recently been sensitive to water and I have been enjoying the benefits of using a Steripen. However, using this bottle over swirling a UV pen in a bottle for 90 seconds is way convenient. All you have to do is press the button and wait. No swirling involved. I have stopped using my UV pen since i started using this bottle.One draw back though is capacity. This bottle only holds 590ml. Many of the top insulated bottles have a wide mouth. For this reason I give it only 4 stars.Durability? I accidentally dropped my bottle onto a rough concrete floor once. There were scratches and a tiny tiny dent, but the bottle has never lost its insulating properties.I own a lot of insulated bottles from Klean Kanteen, Yeti, Thermos, plus a few others. So I am impressed with the quality and performance of this bottle.

As advertised

Would seem to work as advertised. I did not fall sick once while using this on a recent camping trip. If you are particular though, the outside of the bottle is easily scratched or marked. Used daily across 3 weeks on a single charge.

Defective Charger & Company Is Aware

I want to love this bottle but...I didn't realize that I have to remove the lid to take a drink. There is no flip-spout or anything like that. The magnetic charger must be TAPED to stay on to charge. When I called the company I was told they have many complaints about that. It was suggested that I remove the cap and then try. I bought this on View Your Deal and have to wonder if they are trying to get rid of them. If I return it, I'm stuck paying for return shipping on a defective product.

Good-looking, fully functional

I was attracted by the appearance of the product, and it was the yellow water cup that I liked. When I received the product, it greatly satisfied the girl's heart, and the outside of the product was a frosted texture. Features are very good and very comprehensive, with automatic cleaning of the intelligent funciton. Also, it has the function of ultraviolet ray sterilization and odor removal. I think it is a very good product during the epidemic period. The whole water bottle is made of stainless steel, so there is no need to worry about bumping. It can keep the water temperature when playing outside, which brings great convenience to life.

It’s not that great

The bottle is not what I expected. I thought buying this would sterilise the water and some how make it taste fresh, but it just makes it taste more like metal tap water. I’m not even sure if it works because the blue light can’t activate until the lid is screwed on. And you can really see, smell or taste a difference so all you can do is trust that it works. It’s quite small too, not worth $130 for a drink bottle. It doesn’t change the taste of water, so if you’re looking for that then don’t bother wasting your money. It has a nice handle on top to carry it around with ease. That’s probably the best part.

Just a standard water bottle with a gimmick

This water bottle claims to kill 99.9% of bacteria and pathogens, thus avoiding smells etc.I have found this to not be the case, as the metal seems to have reacted with the liquids inside and has released a fishy/sewage smell. It's a shame because it's a pretty bottle, but I think this UV light is a gimmick, little more.

Practical and beautiful at the time

I chose this product was because I always have slippery things grow on the side of my water bottle and the UV sanitizing feature is very attractive to me, which turns out it is a good decision. I pick the yellow one and it is what I was expecting, very pretty yellow and it has a matte texture, which makes it easy to grab. The outside of the bottle won't turn hot even when you put boiled water in, and it can keep it warm for quite a long time. I fill the bottle with boiled water before I slept at night and it was still warm in the afternoon the next day

Wonderful! Why?

Honestly, when I began using this I was questioning its functions on how it would reduce the smell within the water bottle using UV power. However it showed effective results after I used it’s function, with the reduction of smell overtime. The flexible and comfortable-to-hold handle incorporated into the design was extremely useful to not dropping it like previous bottles I had without the handle. The fact that it is stainless steel makes it easy to clean. However, it will still accumulate scratches and small dents if not taken care of properly. Overall, I would recommend this to people who cannot stand the after smell of using water bottles and the resistance to scratches with its’ quality stainless steel. Works great!

I've had my bottle for a few months now and I love it! The UV light works every time and charging is really easy. Plus, the bottle automatically cleans itself every few minutes to keep the water clean and fresh. Bacteria grows like crazy in water bottles and without UV they can get pretty nasty. My old (regular) bottle would get a weird orange color around the mouthpiece and I would have to scrub it and disinfect it. This bottle won't allow that kind of Bacteria to grow at all. Cool and clean, like I like it!
