Great replacement for the old type of a bulb and thanks to the pricing of Budgetlight, very affordable and will pay itself back in less than a year with current electricity prices.

I brought these a while ago to replace 50w globes and we're already seeing a difference in power usage, we have 9 around the house and each used to be 50w each - ouch - so these are an awesome energy saver. They're brighter, warm in colour and value for money not to mention only 4.6w each! Would recommend.

Installed 5 a year ago into a 5-bulb light fitting and have had to replace 4 over the past four weeks! Didn't last any longer than their halogen globe predecessors.

Bright, white. Had to replace previous one (non Philips) after 18months so will see how this one gets on! Can’t comment on longevity yet.
Honestly surprised to see such poor quality from Phillips. 1 year with 5 hours per day usage.
Great Bulb. Good power rating and a nice bright white light
Lasted 2 weeks before dimming. I thought that by buying a branded lamp at a higher cost that it may last somewhere near the god-knows-how-many-thousand hours they all claim. Would take it back but have lost receipt.
Not the daylight white I was expecting. These were more in the warm white side and the light was more yellow than white. I bought the cheaper Osram ones and they were perfect.
I bought this a month ago and so pleased with my choice. Cool white in a bathroom needs to be done, it just makes the bathroom look crisp and white and clinically clean! LEDs make sure that the bulb lasts forever and uses less electric than traditional bulbs.
I originally had the Philips GU10 Halogen bulbs installed and recently switched to these LED bulbs! The cool white makes such a difference on the appearance of the room and they look soo much better than the halogen!
