I have absolutely loved this airfryer. I honestly thought it was going to be a 'one trick' pony - as in, id only ever be able to cook chips in it but it has exceeded my expectations amazingly! I've cooked all sorts in here - chips, chicken, frozen foods, cakes. I've used several of the functions - the keep warm one is pretty amazing! The sleek design is a winner, it's not massive and chunky. It doesn't take up a whole cupboard like some appliances. I love that once it's done it beeps so you know it's finished, no checking every 10 minutes. It's so practical and handy. The full touch screen display is impressive and easy to maneuver. My only cons - 1. It didn't come with a manual, I had to download an app (YAY, 21st century technology!) And 2. You have to buy some of ... MoreI have absolutely loved this airfryer. I have to say that this is my second air fryer (another brand not being mentioned) and I had always found them a 'leave in the cupboard most of the time' devices.... However this little guy has changed my opinion completely! When I first opened the box (after my cat decided to let me do so - pic attached!) I was struck by how compact it is. This worried me as to capacity, but I needn't have been concerned as it is surprising how much you can fit into it despite it's diminutive size. As you can see form the pics I can easily fit in two large fish cakes PLUS chips! Absolutely great as in 20 minutes everything was cooked to perfection.I have mainly used it to cook fish and chips to be honest, as it just does it so much better than my oven... I mean A LOT BETTER... ... MoreI have to say that this is my second air fryer (another brand not being mentioned) and I had always found them a 'leave in the cupboard most of the time' devices.... Absolutely great as in 20 minutes everything was cooked to perfection.I have mainly used it to cook fish and chips to be honest, as it just does it so much better than my oven... I mean A LOT BETTER... the fish is succulent and crispy, and the chips are lovely, with no oily residue. For this I simply used the 'Frozen Chips' preset. which seemed to give the perfect balance of heat and time.I did do some marinaded chicken drumsticks in it too... At first I put it on a little hot (as I hadn't realised I should really lower suggested temperatures from the packets as it is so much more efficient than my oven. Once I did this they came out brilliantly - really really juicy. Also one day I had some chips left over from a trip to my local chippy - so I popped them in the fridge and decided to try and heat them up the following day. Usually this results in either 'charcoal sticks' or sogginess.... not now! They came out great - just like they were when I got them fresh.... I was very impressed.I notice that you can also get a 'baking kit' - which I will seriously now buy, as I am convinced it will bake cakes just as well as it does the rest. Plus I notice there is also a little grille piece and skewer set as well... the two tier grill piece would be great to do more food, although I suspect you would need to lower temps a bit more to stop the stuff on the top burning. My Mum has been ill over my test period, so being able to get delicious and nutritious food cooked quickly and with almost no mess was perfect - Oh yes forgot to add how easy it is to clean. The food residue just falls off with almost no washing - and it's really easy to dry. This was one reason my previous fryer was not used, as it was such a pain to clean... Philips have done a really good job on making this one effortless to clean.I did cook some stuff using the manual temp/time settings, and that's how I realised about the lower required temps, however the presets are very accurate and so you hardly need to use the manual way. I did also use the 'keep warm function' for my chicken drumsticks, as they cooked so quick I wasn't actually hungry by the time they were done - it kept them warm without drying them out.I did also load up the app, and saw lots of great recipes. I didn't have time to try them due to my Mum being ill, but I am DEFINITELY GOING TO!!!There is only ONE NEGATIVE thing about this fryer, and that is the instructions (or lack of them). I have never had such a hard time finding an instruction leaflet, indeed if I hadn't been testing it for Philips, and so had a link included in one of the emails, I doubt I would have found them! Although you can get to grips with the machine without them, I recommend Philips either add them to the box, or give a CLEAR LINK to them in the package.... but really that's my only gripe.

The airfryer looks very tidy (and a bit space age!) I'd happily leave it out on the worktop.I'm still very much getting used to having it and keep forgetting and firing the main oven up instead but actually the airfryer cooks some things so much better - and quicker! I find potato based products in particular but I also made the best garlic bread ever a few nights ago - moist and crispy at the same time so I'll definitely be repeating that!!I downloaded the NutriU app and its great, if not a little overwhelming - so many great ideas to try out (I have a Phillips blender too so it reccomends ideas for both)My only downside is there are some things that's aren't possible with the model/equipment I have so would need to buy some more bits such as a muffin pan or ... MoreThe airfryer looks very tidy (and a bit space age!) I've not actually used the keep warm function yet but seems like a great idea so I'm sure I'll get round to it at some point.

Fantastic product!Philips has a huge hold on the air fryer market, and its distinctive pull-out basket is available in various capacities and it’s so easy to use and clean. The preset for chips refers to the frozen variety, so we made our homemade fries in 20 minutes using the manual button instead. These turned out great, as we’d shaken the basket halfway through cooking time, so they were an even colour and very appetising. The keep-warm function meant they were still hot and crisp after 20 minutes. There are five preset options to choose from on this model – frozen fries, meat, fish, whole chickens and chicken drumsticks – so you only have to press one button for dinner in a hurry. I’m so much excited about that Airfryer and the next thing I gonna do is order ... MoreFantastic product!Philips has a huge hold on the air fryer market, and its distinctive pull-out basket is available in various capacities and it’s so easy to use and clean. This is the first time I have used an air fryer and I am very impressed. The Philips Airfryer is compact, easy to use, easy to clean, does not take up too much room and is easily stored. It cooks everything beautifully and I like that it does not need to be preheated before use so it can be plugged in and I can start cooking straight away. The touch pad controls make it very easy to use. As well as being able to set it manually, it has a number of pre-set options one of which I used to cook frozen chips. The air fryer cooked the chips perfectly in 22 minutes – much quicker and more evenly cooked than my oven. The instructions included were quite brief but it was easy to download the full instruction manual on the Philips website. The first impression is that the basket is too small, but I like the sleek-looking design and quality of the build. I downloaded a few recipes from the Philips app and started my journey with Airfryer. I made chips from fresh sweet potatoes and chicken wings with a light spray of oil. Results are amazing, they were very crispy and fast to make. The next morning, I made Vegetable Omelette from the app. It was easy to follow instructions, fast, and not many dishes to clean after.Plus is that it's dishwasher safe so I don't need to spend a lot of time cleaning after use.I put my Airfryer on the kitchen counter, so it is easily accessible, no time is wasted heating the oven, and after cooking just put it in the dishwasher. After a few days of using it, I don't ... MoreThe first impression is that the basket is too small, but I like the sleek-looking design and quality of the build. Maybe if you have a big family you will need to make two batches.Overall, I'm very happy with my new Airfryer and I will definitely use it in my daily cooking routine, no more oven!!!.
I recently purchased the Philips Air Fryer from Amazon during the Prime Day sale with high expectations, given the brand's reputation for quality. However, my experience has been mixed due to two significant concerns.Firstly, upon receiving the air fryer, I noticed a dent on the bottom of the tray. While the non-stick coating seems intact, the dent raises durability and aesthetic concerns. It's disappointing to receive a product with such an obvious flaw, especially from a brand like Philips.Additionally, the capacity description of 4.1L proved to be misleading. When I measured the interior tray, I found that the maximum dimensions of the inside tray are approximately 20cm x 18cm x 9cm, which fell is far short of the advertised capacity.Despite these issues, ... MoreI recently purchased the Philips Air Fryer from Amazon during the Prime Day sale with high expectations, given the brand's reputation for quality. When I measured the interior tray, I found that the maximum dimensions of the inside tray are approximately 20cm x 18cm x 9cm, which fell is far short of the advertised capacity.Despite these issues, there are some positive aspects to highlight. The Philips Air Fryer proves to be efficient and quiet, outperforming my previous Ninja air fryer in these aspects. It effectively delivers crispy and delicious results with NO oil usage, which is commendable. In conclusion, my experience with the Philips Air Fryer has been mixed. While it showcases efficient and quiet performance, I am disappointed by the dent on the tray and the misleading capacity description. I urge Philips and Amazon to address these concerns for the benefit of future customers.
I purchased this productas my wife and myself are now in early 80s and trying to make normal everyday tasks abit easier to carry out. We therefore ,after much research, that an Air cooker wouldbe simpler to use than a full size oven and easier to clean. The reality has been how ever that instructions are no wqhere full enough for us to use this machine for all our basic cooking requirements, i.e coking sausages only instructs cooking THIN sausages and we use the standard size ones. There is a so called APP that is available to greatly assist in using the air cooker. BUT we have no device to use with such an APP . So we are having to use be trial and a great deal of error. I could not be more happy with this airfryer's cooking capability so far. I have been cooking every meal in it since the day it arrived! From hard boiled eggs to grilled cheese and everything in between! I dont know why it took me so long to discover this gem! Clean up is really easy!!This air fryer comes with an app, and there are TONS of recipes to follow. I cant wait to really expand my cooking to include this regularly. The only 2 things I would change is the small basket size, and the vent location. Its great for 1-2 people but I could not fit 2 standard sized sandwiches in it and had to rotate them. Its definitely small enough to fit on the counter top, so storage is a cinch! The vent really blows hot air so finding a spot to run it was a little challenging, ... MoreI could not be more happy with this airfryer's cooking capability so far. So far I have only used this product for burgers and chips, but the food has turned out fantastic! The chips in particular use such little oil and yet get so crispy. I also love that you can just put it on and leave it to cook away, it requires very little checking. This is definitely easier to use than an oil fryer, not to mention healthier and safer too (I have a fear of getting burned by hot oil when using a chip pan!)I would also recommend the NutriU app which has loads of great recipes for the air fryer, including some you wouldn't even think about like poached eggs! I also like that it tells you what other air fryer accessories you will need, like a baking tin.My only criticism of this product is that the instructions were not terribly clear so I had to ... MoreSo far I have only used this product for burgers and chips, but the food has turned out fantastic!
