Philips Hue White Ambiance Filament A60 - E27 Smart Bulb

Be careful, these lightbulbs are addictive. You want your whole house kitted out in them. This filament one was perfect for our vintage Lamp that didn't suit the standard hue range and it works perfectly. The ability to dim it is really great.

A statment bulb that I'd buy for the right room

I think the product is great, in the right setting. It was slightly larger than I'd anticipated but it does look very trendy when in place. I've now got it as a statement light in my hallway, where I think it does a good job.I don't yet have a Hue bridge, so it is literally just a bulb for me until I get one. It's a good bulb though and seems to be reasonably energy efficient too.

Fun

I bought this along with a bunch of other hue lights from reduction revolution. They were competitively priced and delivered quickly. The lights themselves are warmer and better looking than normal hue white lights, perfect for the outdoor light fixtures I used them in.

Good if you have other Philips hue products

Like the product. Think the bulb looks very stylish. Need either a nice slim shade less lamp or cables from the ceiling. The Bluetooth element is great but doesn't seem to work off any of the same apps I already have so had to download another. Would be great if you already have Philips hue products.

Great bulb

We use this bulb all the time, it has great adjustability via the app on BluetoothFor reading or general lighting this bulb won't disappoint. It's rather large bit I think it also makes it looks quoted trendy and stylish.If you are looking for a great dimmable bulb via your phone look no further

I would like more for around the house

This was a bit of a revelation in terms of lighting in my small rooms and I particularly like the option to have cooler and warmer lights depending on what you are doing or the ambience you want to create - for me it's the difference between working from home or relaxing at home.The differences can be quite subtle but the app is incredibly easy to use and it's easy to save your favourite lighting. I think, with the app setup, it's probably a case of 'more is more' and I look forward to adding more bulbs around the house so that I can get the full benefit of the Hue experience.

Issues connecting with Google App

I bought this a while ago, it connected to my Google Home account fine to start off with. After a couple of months it disconnected from the Google Home app. It stopped connecting after this, Phillips customer support were unhelpful and lacked the knowledge to assist with the issue. I've since returned this bulb to get a different brand as I have no faith in the team at Phillips to assist with the issue.

Received wrong product

I received the wrong product more than 2 weeks ago. Galaxus asked very quickly for a bunch of information and pictures to confirm and after that they've stopped answering. It's been already 9 days.The product they will sent for this is Philips White, which doesn't allow you to control the white shade.

The best LED bulb

I am slowly replacing some older IKEA LEDs that I had in the house and what a difference the Hue makes. The IKEA lights are 3-4 years old and had drifted in colour to Greenish tint. The Hues that I bought at the same time have not drifted in their colour.It's hard to explain, but the quality of the light from the Hue is much better as well, something you notice if you are reading for instance. There's a much high degree of comfort for the eye.

White ambiance

The bulb was very easy to set up in the Hue app and works perfectly. It's great to be able to change the colour and intensity of the light easily on the app and the variety of options is fantastic. When needed the bulb can be very a bright white light, but can also be dimmed to a relaxing warm white in the evening and even used as a night light. I'm currently in the process of changing all of the light bulbs in my house to Hue bulbs and this bulb works perfectly with all of the other Hue products. The nice thing about this bulb in particular is that the bulb looks very nice by itself so it can be used on its own on a simple pendant, or used with a normal lampshade. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.
