Having purchased many of the hue white ambiance candle bulbs for the chandeliers in my home having got fed up with halogen bulbs popping every 2 weeks I was thrilled to be able to try out the full colour version.As I have an existing hue setup at home with the bridge and app already in use it was really quick and easy to swap out a couple of bulbs in one of my fittings for these. I was able to search for them and add to my light fitting in under a minute and could instantly pick a variety of lighting effects. I tried the white tones first and they looked exactly the same as the originals but having the colours now meant I could try out the range of scenes available in the app which worked great with each bulb in a different tone. Sadly my photos don't do them justice.Having been put off buying the coloured hue candle bulbs due to them being a good bit more expensive I have now been convinced and will definitely order more to swap out in light fittings in key rooms for parties as the effects are really fun.I believe these ones are even better as you no longer need a hue bridge you can access in an app using Bluetooth instead. I didn't test this since I already have a hue setup at home. I have had a three hue E27 bulbs since 2015, adding a lightstrip in 2019 and the candle bulbs in 2020. I love my hue lighting especially being able to adjust the tone of white in my chandeliers to suit the time of day or activity. All my bulbs are still going strong with no issues experienced. They were easy to set up (I'm not particularly techy) and the app has always been really stable, no issues when it needs updated either.All in all I'm very happy with my hue lighting and would highly recommend, although be warned it can become addictive!!

Philips hue lights are great , we already have lots in the house and the garden and these were quickly added to that collection . I love the fact there are so many different options on these bulbs and really make a difference to any space . As we already have an existing set up with the bridge and app already used it was so easy to set up .I love the fact you can control via the app, Alexa or use with a hue switch , you have complete flexibility to have a different set up .These two new bulbs are used in one of our bedrooms - the nieces and nephews love asking Alexa to set the mood !I would highly recommend

Excellent colour and brightness changing candle lamp. Used in conjunction with hue app and Apple Home app. Bought SES to ES adaptor so I could use these in different light fittings where only candle lamps would fit. My criticisms would be that they are expensive; I would like to see these go more dim and I would like to see more versatility on the hue app eg slow colour changing flow and a more responsive sound to light ability for music. There's is a lot of potential, but the apps/accessories don't realise that yet. Overall though, very happy.
Pros: Fabulous bulbs. Very bright.Cons: The price. BOX we're the cheapest I could find but nevertheless all Hue lightbulbs are ridiculously overpriced.
These bulbs work as expected with my Philips Hue bridge and Apple Home app. I usually wait until they're on offer, and they are then better value to buy.Too early to judge longevity.
Philips Hue is great, these coloured ones were a nice addition to the 56 Hue bulbs already spread around the house. They were quickly integrated with one of our Hue Hub's and shortly after new scenes had been created and assigned to the Hue light switch for that room. I can highly recommend these as coloured lights in a neutral room can create a very relaxing environment.

Love the flexibility of colours and the fact they are easily changed in brightness or colour by a quality app.Add in the bonus of control via Alexa and you can't go wrong.Simple set-up AFTER downloading the app or using the wifi bridge.Only marked 4 stars due to high price

I'd read that Philips had taken a decision to focus only on lighting products in the 'smart home' category and I can confirm it really does tell. Everything is put together professionally and intuitively. The lights can be operated by bluetooth, or (as I did) you can connect to a Philips Hue 'bridge' to take advantage of the more advanced functionality. These are an absolute doddle to set up and each bulb can be set up in less than a minute. You can easily set up rooms or zones and quickly move lights from room to room, rename them and reconfigure them. These are excellent products and they work well with Alexa or via the app. I'll definitely be switching to these
Bought for two JL wall lights to increase the number of Hue lights in the room. they do the job well, and no flickering when dimmed. Work off an app on my phone or wall switch.would recommend
