As with everything to do with the Hue Light System this is easy to set up, configure and integrate into my existing set up. The colour gradient is in three zones along the light strip and provides amazing brightness and colour quality. This is a great product for creating different modes in your home.

This really is thing of beauty and simplicity. Came well packaged, and super easy to set up. Added to my Hue bridge within 2 minutes, and then able to control it via Siri and the Apple Home app (even though it doesn't have the Made for iPhone logo on the box).It creates a beautiful colour spread on the wall behind, where the lamp is headed, and will offer any colour you can think of.My daughter is using it her bedroom to create ambient light in the evening, before she drifts off but I think we're going to need more of these around the house!

The design of this product is very modern and unobtrusive, it would fit into many different interiors. The build quality is very high, this was my first Phillips Hue branded light and I was impressed. The light adds to my existing Hue light bulbs and is easily controlled by phone or smart speaker. The fact you can light up in 3 different colours at once allows you to create the perfect ambience.
I thought I had the ideal spot for this lamp, however as you can see from the first image, even on full brightness, it really requires a smaller room as the light it emits is bright but it covers a small area. The app is brilliant and the various scenes/shades you can download and instantly apply are brilliant. These can be further customised. At time of writing and at least to my knowledge, only one user can have access to the lamp at once and the lamp itself has no on/off switch. Everything is controlled with the app meaning that if another user is in the house, they also require the app. I've read an update is imminent to allow sharing which will help. This is more suited to a bedroom or a study rather than a lounge and the study is where I have moved it to. I'm sure when the darker months roll around I will appreciate the quality of this lamp more. If you're looking for a customisable light which has a lovely app and your budget stretches to it, you'll be rewarded with a lovely product.
