I was in th market for a new, smaller trimmer, so I went to my local Wally World and picked this little beauty up for $20. It had all of the atrachments I could need with a few more besides. If you treat it with care, it'll perform everytime, on time. Great little trimmer, it makes trimming my beard easier and more fun than attempting to use my otherwise awesome hair trimmer. this unit is light small and easy for travelling. The charger unit cannot use a foreign connector without an adapter but again is light and packs into the provided small bag. The colour coded (grey or black) grooming adapters have hard to read sizes on them but as you are likely to only use 2 and one is likely to be black and the other grey it is not an insurmountible problem. The battery life is fair but we are talking nickel metal hydride which is cheap and if my prior phillips shave still going strong 15 years later is a guide, then phillips has this technology nailed. It is also reassuring that fires are unusual with this tech. As far as use goes it is very easy to use.

Really like the Multigroom 3000. All the different attachments are great. Small size and no cord are fantastic. The clipper has plenty of power to cut through a thick beard or even do a haircut without clipper bogging down. Nose trimmer is best I have used. I would have given it 5 stars except for one thing left out, it has no charge light. The Multigroom 3000 is first rechargeable I have used that doesn't have a light to let you know when to charge it and when it is fully charged. You have to wait until it no longer runs to know it needs charging, and no way to tell it is fully charged except waiting 8 hours as stated in instruction manual.

I was looking for a corded beard razor for a good price and a lot of attachments. Look in several stores and even on line for it. I was in this one store and reading the back of the box of the 3000. It had all the attachments I was looking for but wasn't corded. I said what the heck and give it a try. Come to find out it's a great razor. Very sharp as I cut myself first time using it. LOL. I would recommend this for every guy who likes to have a well groom look for their bread or Goat T. I bought one for my son as a birthday present.
So many attachments! All work great! Best trimmer I ever bought for my husband. He is disabled and I use it on him. He is always happy with the results.The only negative I would say is I wish it had a light when it's charging. They say to charge it for 15 minutes and it's always fine. Sometimes I forget I have it plugged in. Overall it's a great product! Lightweight and easy to change attachments and use.
Picked up this trimmer at Walmart as my 2 previous trimmers (double AA batteries operated by Conair & Gillette) have seized. I was skeptical at first due to the price and packaging, but decided to give it a shot. After several use, I was impressed at its smoothness, speed and light-weight handling. The instruction guide was picture based and easy to following. The kit comes with several attachment and a charging cable (battery is built-in).The only thing I would add to the trimmer would be an LED indicator for charging.After researching the Philips company, digital infrastructure and guarantee policy, I am now a Philips fan!!!
I have more elaborate trimmers and such but this one is light, easy to use, many different options and easy to charge.I have a full head of hair and a full thick beard. This trimmer cuts my hair (I like it short), my beard, mustache, eye brows, neck, and any other area that needs to be groomed!It’s easy to use and doesn’t jam or rip any hair out by the roots.The only con is it’s not water proof.I fully recommend this for everyday use, travel, and a back up trimmer.The waterproof issue will have to be for the more expensive models as this one is priced perfect.

I'm sure as you know, if you peruse the trimmer shopping section on amazon, the first 10 to 15 results are nice looking trimmers with LED lights and all come with stands that you can easily place on your bathroom countertop. Unfortunately, Phillips did not meet the mark. There's no indication at all to tell you that the product is charging, no green light or 0 through 100 marker, something that you can see as an important feature that should be on a chargeable trimmer. Secondly there is no stand, they give you this cheap pouch to put about 10 tiny items in, some which will get wet and full of hair. Since I have gotten older, 32.5 years old, I feel I look better with shorter hair, since my hair has completely grayed, and thinned. At the same time, I've started growing a full and or partial beard - to offset the shorter hair and the grayness. I always - keep the beard very short, clean lines and uniform to my face. This Phillips Multigroom 3000, is perfect in helping to do such. Instead of shaving the beard off with a razor and shaving cream only, I can now trim the beard hairs short first - then go about shaving with a razor and shaving cream as normal. It's a wonderful product, with many different attachments that I have not used with it as of yet.
Before the trimmer stopped working about a month after purchasing it, the quality of trim was probably at best average. The trimmer was in working order and it operated as it was designed to. The trim just wasn’t close enough based on past experiences with a comparably priced Wahl trimmer. The trim guards also were not numbered. You have to test which will cut shorter because some look the same length but have no identifiable numbering system. I will be submitting for reimbursement of the cost of purchase. I think there is a warranty. Either way I will have to go back to a Wahl trimmer. I really was looking for an alternative to Wahl. This Philips trimmer is not the one.
